6 REASONS WHY DRAKE EARNED HIS L. 1. Drake used all those ghostwriters to sneak diss multiple rappers on every album and it finally caught up to him. 2. Drake brought up "me too allegations" into the battle with no proof and it backfired. 3. Drake was warned by Kendrick twice to not go personal and still he refused to listen 4. Drake didn't listen to wayne when he said "Keep it Canadian"..."Don't get tattoos"... "Don't rap about guns" and drake still didn't listen. 5. Drake knew he had a strong history of grooming minors but his ego ignored that and he still thought he can defeat one of the best rappers ever in a rap battle with that past. 6. The Heart Part 6 and Taylor made lost him the battle. He really only had one great song being family matters. Push ups isn't trash but its still mid from when I first heard and its still sounds mid now.

Aubrey's seemingly inability to read the room was also a factor but that might fit in with reason #3. Idk if it was the fangirl colored glasses or not but I don't recall him being so arrogant in like 2007 to maybe 2010 when I stopped listenin' to him as much. Looking back, even Family matters was not that good. It sounds good but when you look at the verses really, it's a cringefest (from the first second), not structured and aimless, where drake kind of repeat and emphasize the same points made in push ups (Kendrick's wife not with a bodyguard but with Dave Free). Shocking points but lyrically very poorly constructed. Even the video, once you get the van and crushed it, there's nothing of true value (drake going to a restaurant in Toronto... ok)

The most one-sided rap beef of all time is Ice Cube versus NWA. No one even considered NWA to be the winners after No Vaseline. There was nothing left to say, no back and forth, no tit for tat. The Kendrick vs Drake beef unfolded like a soap opera. It was entertaining but compared to No Vaseline, it was an after-school special.

Kendrick is a God gifted artist. His gift is phenomenal. Aubrey is an entertainer. He’s pop. He makes fast food music. A lot of people love fast food, but many people can’t eat that mess. huh? Rick ross career kept going after his beef with 50. Even has a widely popular car show. jay-z went on to become one of the biggest names in Hip hop after his beef with nas, (and who is more of a household name?). Drake has momentum, unlike Kendrick. Dot starves his fans, and only shows up when he feels like it. Drake is consistent and has his finger on the trends. It might make him a biter....but he is paid and not going anywhere anytime soon. I don't think people are getting tired of Drake. i think Dot made a big moment, people hopped on the trend of "lets all cll drake a pedo!" but once that is over, the consistent artist's will still be here. Just might rebrand.

on paper, Kendrick and Drake should be evenly matched. Came up the same time. Same generation of rappers. Animosity on both sides going on over a decade. Drake is one of the top 5 biggest musical acts in the world. Most streamed artist of the 2010s. Kendrick meanwhile is highly critically acclaimed, winning 17 Grammys, a Pulitzer Prize for Music, and 3 or 4 classic top hip hop albums of all time. It's not like Drake was destined to lose. There were legitinate reasons why Kendrick might not have come away well from battling Drake, who people saw as battle tested, has an army of very online fans, has hip hop media on his side because Kendricks not giving anyone any interviews 😅 But Kendrick whooped him out his shoes in decisive fashion. Just because Kendrick was so strong, doesnt mean Drake was weak though. It'd be so unfair to Kendrick to dent just how dominating he was, regardless of his opponent's poor showing

Go back and look at the picture of 50 Cent sitting down at Ja's show. It was clearly photoshopped and meant as a troll. We all believed it at first. But no, it's not true. Still funny! Ja's career never recovered BUT it wasn't all 50.... Go back and do the research into the history. Eminem is the reason that man never came back. 50 started it, held him down, but Ja could've got up and recovered eventually, imo. Ja mentioned Hayley, Em's daughter and from there Ja lost so much more and clearly hasn't been the same since. 50 & Em is a combo you don't want. Em would murder you in rap, 50 will too but also troll you online, in person, at shows, on stage... This man is petty and openly admits he loves it. His enemies hate him because he's funny and you can't hate him when he does it. But it's definitely damaging to the world's perception of another person. Still affects Ja at the end of the day whether he pays attention or not.

I will slightly agree that Em never battled any top emcees, however they also never engaged with Em either. In the early 2000s, it was a running joke that you don't mess with the white boy. 50, Jay, nas, Nelly, DMX and every other top rapper at that time never even attempted to diss Eminem.
