Is Kerbal Space Program 2 Worth It? - My First Impressions

I finally bought Kerbal space program 2, I decided to give it a little review during my first few hours of playing while trying to find the old easter eggs that are in the original ksp, that may or not be there.
This game has a lot of potential but I'm going to be super honest about my opinion, if its worth waiting for or buying it now.

Thanks for covering the game Sid! Glad to hear you had a good time, and I've passed on some notes to the team covering your feedback. Sorry to disappoint about the missing pyramids, but there's a good number of points of interest already in KSP2 that you just gotta explore to find - and there's dozens more coming in For Science!! Improvements are also being made to the camera system, which you mentioned not liking how it reset switching back out of map view, but that work is planned for post v0.2.0.0 (the next patch). Looking forward to future content and your thoughts on everything coming in the upcoming milestone update. 💚 - CM Dakota

Shame it aged like milk. After hearing the few details that leaked about the games development, it's amazing what was achieved.

Good to know your experience! I just want to know why they remove the western ranges. (Although whole planet become more rough and make rover run more challenging) (if you are going to do it again in K2) but I heard there will have a update in December, Perhaps it will be better-

wait like a few days (or a week idk exact timing) for science update, its not just science but also a lot of stability/ peformance improvements

Hey I played maybe 3-5 hours and shelved the game. Noodle rockets (worse than Kerbal 0.22 was when I first started.. that was Nov2011 or thereabouts? I may be wrong by a year or 2). No Science, laggy, bad interface, bad VAB interface which kept fighting me (again way worse than KSP1). The only limiting factor of KSP1 is the framerate for large crafts and Kraken attacks (which have gotten worse in the later versions) olso rover sliding on surface... I was hoping KSP2 would fix the above, but sadly it did not. I am not impressed at all so far and it may take years before KSP2 is playable at the level KSP1 is (well, when KSP1 is stable). Beautiful graphics only goes so far when I can't play the game. If I was in charge I would tell the devs: Give me the KSP1 interfaces, all of them. But I can't so not playing atm. I fully expect mods to get the KSP1 interface later, if and when the game picks up. It's really not there. It's just not ready. My 2 cents. Some ppl managed to do Jool missions and other things... Personally I just can't 😛
