I bought a Kindle by accident, thinking I could get library books out on it... turns out you can't! So I thought the next best option would be to try Kindle Unlimited, a subscription service that gives you access to over 800,000 e-books for $9.99 a month. I did the math and can tell you... is Kindle Unlimited worth it?

I love that I don't mind reading on my phone. It's made starting to read in my 30s easy to start. Nothing against real books at all but I don't need the pages like that.

You can borrow books on your kindle! I do it all the time using Libby.

I like the kobo but many books aren’t available on overdrive or the holds are 40 weeks long! Sounds like the kindle unlimited is a good deal

I think that depends on your library! My library has tons of options because I live in a biggish city. I still use it on my phone! But Kindle Unlimited is pretty great for the price!

I wish I could read on kindles but I much prefer reading paper books 😭. My sister gave me her old kindle but I hardly ever use it because I feel like I read so slow on kindles
