Hey there Gustav, I lived in Kismayo growing up and one place I would recommend you visit would be the Island of Koyame its the Island the guy you saw at the airport in Nairobi is also from. I would love to see you explore and enjoy that beautiful island, known for its Sandy beaches, amazing people and delicious food’s it’s truly incredible.

There should be no borders for people, regardless of their color or religion. Young people like this KZfaqr I watched give me hope for the next generation, where people can visit unknown and "dangerous" places that are often labelled as such by mainstream media. Thank you for showing the world the other side of Somalia, which is 99% of the time true. Somalia is not a dangerous place at all, but it's often underdeveloped due to the bad perception painted by the mainstream media, such as the BBC and Fox News. thank you GUSTAV and your American guy for visiting Somalia!!!!

Gus, You should visit a place called Dalhiiska just north of Kismayo. Before the civil war it was a beautiful resort and I wonder what happened to it 30+ years later! thanks for showing the beach where I used to swim in the late 80s in Kismayo before fleeing south as a child towards the border. Yearning to visit one day inshallah.

Somalia is almost as big as the Eastern seaboard of America, with the population that is less than Florida. It’s very big for its size and there’s so much space for people to enjoy nature. Of course this big size is also why it’s hard to control every part of Somalia. Still there’s so much of Somalia that is just uninhabited, like the islands off of Kismayo

Greater Somalia is the area in East Africa including Jigjiga, Wajeer, Boorama and Kismayo. Let say people in Kismayo and Jigjiga can't be discriminated against anywhere in Somalia regardless of the conditions they live in. Somalia is just between Awdalstate and Lower Juba province in Somalia. Also not every Somalis believe or hold your views. I am from Boorama and my cousins live in Jigjiga and Awbare. Just because the borders and Ethiopia stealing our land doesn't mean we agreed with them.
