In India specialy in countryside area the cost of potatoes is of INR 20 for 1 kg and beside this every time we people use to bargen and get 5 kg of potato in INR 90... and also get some dhaniya or mirchi for free...

I guess the reason we get comparatively cheap vegetables and fruits in india is because agriculture is among major sector in here we should be thankful to our farmers God bless them. Same way goes for korea in terms of k-beauty products and cosmetic treatments as they are relatively cheaper than india because for them beauty industry plays a big role. :)

It can be one of reason bt it doesn't make so much difference because rates decided according to economy. People living in their country get pay according to economy. Salary adequate for their decent lifestyle. There 7 lakh is for one sem for non professional course and here 2 lakh is for iit engineering fees per year. So you can see people must have that amount to pay for their education

i think everyone in the comments section are confusing "Country wise currency" say its cheap in india.For their Average monthly salary of korean it msut be reasonable. just how fruits/vegetables are prices accoring to our money value. For ex: a Supermarket sales man is US earns ~$2500/month or higher .. which is (2Lakh per month). in india its not possible(rs15000 per month/$200) Cost of living there is different from that of here. So the comparsion is wrong.

I'm from Bangladesh which is a neighbour country of India. I've been to India a lot of times. Prices of the necessities are cheaper in India than Bangladesh . And omg Korea is very expensive. All the products are 2-5x more expensive in Korea than Bangladesh. For example- 500 ml water- 15 taka(196 won) 1 litre milk- 90 taka (1178 won) 1 kg potato- 30 taka (392 won) 1 kg tomato- 60 taka (785 won) I've always dreamt of living in Korea. I had been planning to go there for University. But guess I'll have to be rich first to manage that amount of money to survive there🥹

Well, there is a thing called currency equivalency and that is that if we compare 10rupees then it will be equivalent to 146 south korean won ( their currency) ..... so , there is not much difference...it is just the difference of currency .
