You don’t weigh the same on fight day as the weigh in day, once you rehydrate and eat some food you gain back weight. If he fights at 200lbs he’s going be slow

I hate when people say their frame can’t hold a certain weight. I believe everyone can hold higher weight than they seem to think they just need longer to get to that weight and maintain that weight for a bit. I was skinny as below 80kg for a long time and struggled to stay above 80 but once I got to 85kg and maintained it for a bit going below 80 is torture. But that’s because I took my time and stayed around 85 and my body got used to it

You can change your frame by gaining weight. Your shoulders might not get wider but putting on weight forces your body to adapt as if you're doing resistance training all the time. Your bones will get thicker and you will naturally be able to carry more size after cutting back down. Your bones are alive, you are a dynamic system. Being fat jacked is a very real thing. It's most obvious in the legs. The bulk is real lol However, it is a slow process and if you don't do it right it can lead to huge health risks. Both cardiovascular issues but also joint issues if you put on size too quickly for your tendons and ligaments to adapt. That's why hoppin' on gear is a much easier way to increase the size of your frame. You can even take steroids that increase vascularisation to your connective tissues if you need them to get more nutrients.

If the Jake vs KSI happens, I assume it’ll be 190 (if it’s true that KSI is bulking up) since Jake is 100% too heavy to go down to 180, and 185 will drain Jake. If KSI is actually training and bulking up, it seems like 190 would be a good weight for both. Especially since he has 7 months till the end of the year

It's subjective, but I'd argue that heavyweight is a much easier weight to transition to for boxing if you can be comfortable fighting and not gassing out at that weight. Especially for influencers trying to crossover to professional and potentially winning a world title. We're seeing it with cats like Jake Paul and even MMA fighters like Ngannou.

Yeah but Jake would be way undersized at those weights unlike Ngannou who used to cut to 265. Jake (ideally) would fight at LHW but he doesn't like weight cutting so 200 it is.

@@extraterrestrialhorse9722 Right Paul is still yet to be seen at HW via this upcoming Tyson fight, however the main point is if these new fighters can get over the obstacles of being a heavyweight athlete, then I'd say heavyweight is the class to transition to, because it allows you to sacrifice things like speed for power and if you have both as a heavyweight your a monster. As you said some fighters don't enjoy cutting weight that could end up leaving them weak and exposed during fight night, so they opt for heavyweight, they may even carry more fat to protect fatal organ damage knockouts. Heavyweight may just be the optimal approach for these fighters looking to succeed while improving at a fast pace.

How would you think JJ vs. Andrew Tate would be? because they had a little situation a while back, but the only reason it never went into fruition is because the massive weight difference between them two but now JJ being a lot closer to 200 lbs. & Andrew Tate not being that far (my guess probably like 205 or 210) them two fighting would actually makes sense as well & it would sell because of the two names involved.

Weight isn't a factor in a fight, unless the smaller fighter is intimidated by the opponent's size. If you lose mentally, you already lost the fight. He'd be better off Fighting at natural weight, than to gain weight to be the same size as an opponent

In his hometown where 002 and 005 took place he sold out multiple thousand seat venues (which are bigger than the halls current Misfits events are being held at). Nobody said he was on the level of Jake or KSI but he did a damn good job at selling out small arenas which other main eventers haven't been able to do on the non-KSI cards.
