Michael Masunas: my fav' underrated player in Spartans' TEs group. From Chandler Hamilton, a respected hs fb program in the s.e. corner of the Phoenix, AZ metro.

Curious on how our current MSU roster (with transfers) compare to Oregon state during their last 2 years when they were top 25? Comparable? Better or worse?

Worse. OSU had multiple NFL players on the oline and a couple elite skill players last year. Msu has their tight end backup qb and center rn. Not particularly close imo

@@dustinblack-cicotte6411MSU only returns 3 above average players defensively (Spencer, Thompson, Carter) & 2 offensively in (Carter, Foster). The have a couple young guys who should improve, but that’s an expectation of adding 12+ above average starters from the portal. I can’t imagine that’s possible.

I go back to a time when Sherman Lewis was the top player on our team. College football and college in general have changed since then, but not for the better.

He’s slow and horrific in coverage. Decent tackler when given the chance but he’s fallen a bit.

@@keithtunstall He actually had some really good stats. He was like 7th most tackles in B1G last year. I'm not asking he be named best player on the team, but you'd swear he graduated based on how everyone is talking.

@@YTSparty EXACTLY !! Matt and his buddy Justin Thind are on this hate tour of Mel Tucker short tenure at Michigan st ! MEL TUCKER only coached 2 full football seasons you can't count the covid season and when he got fired last season after 2 games ! Cal represents the positive during MEL time at MSU and MATT always throw shade when he has a chance ! how can you blame the negative culture of a football program on a coach who only been around for 2 full football seasons ?
