Haha 34 years ago for my 18th I went to Bali. It was so different back then. I wasn’t into spicy food back then and remember finding KFC there. I ordered my food thinking, finally I’ve found something I like! I was very upset when I took my first bite and the chicken was spicy 🥵 God thankfully my taste buds changed and I love Balinese food now.

hahahaha this is so good. hungover at maccas, so aussie. we loved maccas in bali cos you can get it delivered and its easy on your tummy if you have a little bali belly or need a break from indo food.

My husband and I are coming to bali for 3 months in may and your videos have been our go to guide! Super enjoying them. But I’m wondering if you’ll make one about the social like as a couple in bali, like is it easy to make friends as a couple? Because i know in someplace if your a couple traveling your mostly left alone, i would be super interested to hear what your experience regarding that has been? Thanks!

Hey! We think the easiest way to meet people is staying in guest houses with communal spaces. For us we’ve met most people thru KZfaq but we are quite introverted so probably not the best examples. 🤣 That being said people are very friendly here and no one seems taken back by friendly conversation! Hope this helps :)

Loved this vlog... I could not go 2-3 weeks without having Maccers lol 😆 I tried McDonalds when I was last in Bali and it definitely tastes different, but still enjoyed it. Hope you do a vlog on KFC too 😊 I eat KFC once in a blue moon and love their chicken. Will definitely try Maccers chicken when in Bali in August. So counting down my days, minutes and seconds till I get there lol (127 days to be precise 😁)keep up the great work guys xo 🤙👍

Indonesian mcd signature menu is the chicken, you can't get that chicken outside Indonesia. Just a tip if you want to go to mcd again you can change the languange before choosing the menu and choose a package menu like there's a package of 2 chicken 1 cola 1 fries or 1 big mac 1 fries 1 cola, yea saving more money than choose a la carte. Me personally come to mcd just for their big mac or the chicken, the rice bowl is just a no. if you want to try something cool in mcd order iced coffee with ice cream on the top *chef kiss*

Try hoka-hoka bento. It's japanese fast food but indonesian (they're from Indonesia, but Japanese food. So it tastes more Indonesian). There's also Richeese factory, it's Indonesian KFC but with more cheese and spicy twist.

Maybe the taste of McDonald's in Bali is almost similar to the taste in Australia. It could be different in the dough. I'm a freelance guide at Surabaya city who handled the tourists from Europe.

Yeah, apparently only McDs Malaysia of all McDs in the entire SE Asia has Quarter Pounder now. Singapore used to have one, but not anymore. Yet they double down on chicken sandwich variety. Singaporean really love chicken sandwiches.

The difference maybe the taste in Indonesia is more of a natural original spice taste and but if in australia maybe the spicy taste is rarely liked... maybe that's the only difference between mc donals in indonesia and australia. Nice vlog preety awesome 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Enjoy your life while in Bali , my advice is to try and find Indonesian regional specialties in Bali, for example Sop Konro , Coto Makasar , Rujak Cingur, Cwie Mie Malang , Pempek Palembang etc.😁

I prefer McD to KFC. I love the chicken, potatoes, ice cream and more. Of course, everyone's tastes are different. For me KFC is too wet. And of course what makes the difference is that McD's have really good burgers.

I love to go to the local McD's whenever I travel. It always amazes me how different some of the options are. Though you should get a commission as I wasn't thinking about McD's for dinner, 3/4 way through this video I think I will order home delivery. I am in the UK we have Quarter Pounders here. That chicken looked nice, I can't wait to see that interesting apple pie option.
