We all go through this realization about "the chase" at some point in our entrepreneurial journey. My first 7 years in business I neglected every aspect in my life other than chasing monetary goals. I hit every milestone that I set for myself and I made a lot of money. You then hit a wall... and realize everything you neglected along the way (family, relationships, friendships, just enjoying life...) The times when I was making the most money, were the times I was the most miserable. Funny how that works isn't it... Mike and Brad, all the best fellas... Two of the realest motherfuckers out there that made social media great again.

I’ll say it again, Brad’s best content and platform he is the best at by far and away is the podcast! I’ll be honest, loved u on Nelk, love u on ur own even more. Feel like u can fit in with anyone, u ask thought provoking questions that drive great conversation, and most of all IMO, you are as real as it gets about every single topic regardless if it requires you to be vulnerable. That my friend is real strength! Much more than your weight lifting strength. You also are the only podcast host I can sit and listen to for 2 hours without getting bored and still want more. You have truly found your niche where you truly shine! God is using you through your life experience to help thousands of others who have or will experience the things you openly discuss! Keep it up my friend, God is going to do big things in and through you!

Mike described you perfectly in the beginning!! You are like a huge strong Teddy bear/ psychiatrist and I love every podcast I watch since I started following you. Also Mike as I can almost relate more to what he has been through and has done and how he bounced back to be a better person especially to my wife and children and it's crazy the thoughts/ daydreaming that I have while listening to this one specifically!!

I can totally relate to this. I’m 27 have worked my butt off to be where I am in the corporate world. Went to college and worked part time. Only saw my family on weekends and sometimes not at all. Got in the corporate world working 50+ hours a week. And all has changed in the past month. Got news that my mom was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and that there isn’t much time left. Now taking a break from work and being home with her as much as possible. I can totally relate to what they talked about.

On a serious note, the beginning of this really resonates with me. I'm only 27 I work over 40 hours a week and never feel like I have time for everything going on in my life. It hurts, I wish I could be at home with my kids seeing them grow. It really saddens me, especially with the thought anything can change at anytime. Value your family. Spend time with them. Call them let them know you love them. Tomorrow is never promised

@@splat668 Yes your pops made that choice to be in the military where you wouldn't see him for 6 months. That's not the way I'd like to raise my kids. I said over 40 hours. I don't work a 9-5 I work 12 hour days.

Bro the thought of losing someone after dealing with what it feels like to have lost someone is so difficult. I had to do it with 3 straight deaths all in back to back months while I was in college and it was tough. Made me decide to come home after college because I just couldn't lose my father. Respect man. I appreciate y'all both. 🙏🏼

We are all exactly where we are supposed to be at this exact moment to the next there are no coincidences. Understanding the balance of life that there must be bad for there to be good makes you go with the flow and appreciate existence itself. True success is going through this unpredictable life in a spirit of Harmony. The pendulum of life swings as far left as it does right. Both of you in this episode really shows truth and honesty within urselves. Appreciated this 1

Love your podcast Brad, shit is motivating and stress relieving. Mental health and anxiety is no joke, just last week I had two panic attacks and has fucked my nerves up. I'm starting to get the better of it and on the track to getting back to normal. Talking is key in helping anxiety, meds do help but having someone to speak with is the best medicine...that and fresh air lol. Thanks again Brad.

Mannn I've always fucked with Mike from day 1. From his Pods, to the early days on Impaulsive, when the comments would say "Mike talks to much," "Mike cuts off his co hosts to much," "Mike tries and makes impaulsive to much about him and his addiction and past to much." From the jump i knew this dude was real, and was speaking knowledge and facts on life. I hated the hate on the guy, but i said give it time and the masses and fans will come around and understand this guy. And they have. Me being 31 i can relate. from 25:00- until now (59:38) when I paused the pod to post this. Everything brad and Mike are talking about is hitting different. Some serious life shit, that 90 percent of people can relate to. Have grown to be a fan of brads threw NELK and have checked out his own channel. And he's a legend also, super positive and inspirational, Brad is the man, this duo and this pod episode ranks in the top 3 of "raw talk" for me personally. Keep up the great work Brad. For real....still have an hour+ of the pod to go.
