honestly morphe's downfall started when they built their entire brand on 3 VERY problematic people (Jeffrey, James and Jaclyn) if your brand can't stand without the support of other influencers then it shouldn't be standing at all

A few months ago when i was at Target, i saw a morphe2 display, and i said "morphe, girl, i thought you died!" And a girl that was bent down right next to the morphe2 display started laughing, so i took that as her agreeing😂 i love it when i say something stupid thats very "i spend a lot of time on the internet" coded, and someone laughs at what i said. Before i can worry about how much time i spend online, someone laughs, so i take that as yes, i spend a lot of time online, BUT so do others, so its okay😂

Ulta employee here: I have almost NEVER seen Morphe give a gift with purchase for any of their products. However, for this blush launch they DID give away their new blush puff blender with a purchase of the blush.. with that said though, our store only got 2 gifts. So instead of it promoting the brand, many many customers were upset and ended up not buying it. XD

I love the lipstick lesbians content. We dont like the same types of products (i dont wear foundation, use a very small amount of a serum concealer, i dont use powders, i like very natural face makeup, with multichrome eyeshadow. I dont wear lipstick, etc) but i am absolutely obsessed with how well they explain products. I cant stand it when influencers reviews are "ewwww i dont like this! It sucks! Dont buy it!/omg i love this! Its amazing! Buy it!" Like gooo girl, give us NOTHING!😂 I need details about the product, i dont care if someone else loves it if its something i wont like😂🤷‍♀️

At my local mall they didn’t even give the staff a warning NONE they showed up to their shifts and only then and there were told that they were closing all stores

When I first got into makeup quite a few years ago, I was of the mindset that morphe was fancy, morphe was an artists brand, they were the thing to have if you were into makeup artistry. So of course my first ever palettes were morphe. Tbh, morphe started it all for me and loving makeup. I took off running from there. One if my favorite morphe palettes back then was "such a gem" it had beautiful pinks and purple and burgundy's. I actually bought it twice from hitting pan on certain shades. Even the metallics in them were beautiful (back then). Back then is the key words here. As I began trying more and more brands and learning techniques and honing my skills, I excelled right past morphe. Suddenly it became poor quality. Suddenly I realized my blends had been horrible back then and I had thought I was doing the thing lol I began loving indie brands and now my blends are flawless. I had continued buying some morphe brushes but stopped using their makeup. And then I discovered sigma (from you) and I realized morphe brushes werent very good after all. And so once again, I graduated out of morphe. And then they had dramas and horrible treatment of employees and I just lost all interest. It all seemed like poor quality to me. Where once upon a time I held it in high regard. I busted out my old such a gem palette not too long ago and realized even with my perfected talents now, it just underperforms so much. When I saw the huephoric blushes, I did get interested. Briefly. Then I saw some people say how oily they were and I saw them in store and realized nah, I won't like that. Sooooo no. I just am done with morphe I do believe. Haven't we all gotten so much better at makeup to graduate away from them?

Those eyeshadow pallettes look beautiful, but I am very selective about which brands I buy from, and I can not support them.

JenLuv was just talking about how Forma Brands was pretty much throwing all their eggs into the Morphe basket, with maybe a couple tossed at Morphe2, pretty much in a desperate attempt to make *something* work. I don't think I'll ever buy anything from Morphe, but I am kinda interested to see how crazy this bid for relevance will get!

I did get to try the Morphe Huephoric Blush through a product review program I was a part of last month. I love it a lot! It’s very pigmented, and the product applies nicely. I haven’t tried any of their products from before, so I can’t really make a comparison. However, the shade Hypnotized works lovely on my brown skin, and it’s hard to find a good blush for brown skin 😩.

I purchased my first Morphe palette a couple of weeks ago to replace an old, crappy eye shadow palette that never really worked for me. Morphe was the only affordable brand that had the colors I was looking for in one palette. Since then, I've picked up two more and really like them. HOWEVER, I do prefer Colour Pop as far as blendability and staying power. I work 12 hour (hospital) shifts, so my makeup has to last for about 14-15 hours at a time with minimal touch ups.

Even if I really like the aesthetic of that blush, the fact it's SO huge and pigmented gives me anxiety that it will go bad before I can use it up

Never used a Morphe but I always view them as the high-end version of BH Cosmetics. And now that 9pan palette trying to look like Colourpop's and worse, Shein's 😅

The only products that ever interested me were those blushes and that new palette. Aside from that, no. I'll just stick to my Colourpop.

I have a love/hate thing for Morphe. I like their eyeshadow brushes and I still use the palettes that I bought from Morphe over the years. They even have a new brow product, Supreme Brow, that I really like (good hold, great color for a redhead, ease of use, & good price). What I hate is the way they treated their employees when they closed their brick & mortar stores, the way they tended to screw over smaller creators they collaborated with, and all the hinky crap their parent company did. I'm not sure if I want Morphe to make a comeback, or just go crawl into a cave and die.

Products wise: Always wanted to try the brushes from pure curiosity. Since learning more about them and the whole repackaged thing, meh. That foundation sounds nice tbh, and the blushes do look kinda pretty… but yeah. Deplorable actions when they entered bankruptcy is the BIGGEST turn off. They just give me the ick now.

The platinum eyeshadow palette tempted me, I’ll admit. But then this video reminded me of their connection with Jeffrey Starr. If there’s any chance he’ll get some of my money, I’ll spend it elsewhere.

I never understood morphe. I was a huge beauty youtube fan back in 2016, and i remember morphe coming in hot and heavy. I never tried it at its best because i live in canada and couldn't justify the shipping and cost to get it here. When it came to sephora, i had a bad taste in my mouth because of the big youtubers (jaclyn mainly who i could not, and still cannot stand). I never bought, and when i got my hands on the shadows in sephora they were dry and nasty. To me its a brand that had lived and died online, and never was good enough to go against anything you could buy in person. My distaste of morphe has changed my buying habits online, because i refuse to buy trash that doesnt perform, then have to fight to send it back for a refund.

Recently toured a brand new Ulta on my side of town and I was sucked into the Morphe back wall by their new line of eyeshadow palettes. They were Gorgeous!!! I even walked away twice and kept coming back. I swatched them a few times and had to fight with myself to not buy them 😅😅😅

I decluttered most of my morphe palettes last week. I only have the Morphe Mickey and friends palette now.

I wrote off Morphe until I learned that there’s a new CEO. I’m not jumping back and buying stuff, but I’m more willing to look at new stuff, and perhaps purchase, now that it’s not ran by the people who treated the employees beyond unfairly.

Someone gave me the silver Rich and Foiled palette and I thought for like the first week it was Colour Pop! Then I realized I am an idiot and I am blind and that it was Morphe. It's actually my only non-brush Morphe item. I like it. It's not earth shattering but the color story is pretty and the formula is nice.

Those are the Morphe palettes I own. The big 35m palettes. I own about 5 or 6. They are average. Not great, not the worst. I haven't purchased Morphe since the "vault" drama. Only bc I had to see what the tea was about. I would never purchase now, I know better. Plus, there is so much better out there. 💜🖤💜

I've never purchased anything Morphe. Just wasn't interested, but the whole Jaclyn mess years ago, really cemented for me that I wouldn't purchase anything from them. Never bought any of Jaclyn Hill's products either.

Have you tried any of the About Face duochrome liquid shadows?? I got the shades Inner World and Lucid Dream, and ive been having so much fun playing with them! It definitely took me a few times to figure out how i like to use them, but now that ive figured out how i like to use them, ive had a lot of fun playing with them! I have an eye condition called Exotropia, which is where my eyes really struggle to focus on something because they drift outwards. I wear bifocals, and it helps a lot when i wear my glasses, but since i cant wear my glasses while i do my makeup, my makeup routine has DRASTICALLY declined since i got exotropia last year. If i try to focus on something without my glasses, after a few minutes ill get a horrible migraine behind my eyes, so i hardly use any makeup anymore. Since i got the liquid shadows, ive been playing with makeup and its been so so fun for me❤ i also cannot do eyeliner to save my life, but ive been practicing using the liquid shadows, and its somehow easier for me to do liner with those than it is with an eyeliner pen😂🤷‍♀️ im planning on grabbing a few more shades, and i want to try more from AF now, i love it when brands make me excited❤

I actually think those products are really nice and interesting. I'm not going to impulsively buy them because I don't need more makeup, especially since I seldomly wear any, but it looks good

I tried the new morphe blush and honestly I’m not impressed. I have “normal” to dry skin and it was moving around on me, so it would definitely slip and slid on your skin Robert. The pigment doesn’t last and becomes patchy throughout the day as well. The only thing I ever liked and purchased more than once from morphe was their previous blush balm that they discontinued for this disappointment. The apricot shade was absolutely beautiful, lasted all day and blended like a dream. I wish they kept it and maybe just expanded the shade range to keep it exciting.

I saw the blush when you first walk in to Ulta, and just kept walking 😊. I really like my flower beauty one at the moment

I have been getting non stop ads for the blush everywhere. I have to say I have been tempted because it does look really nice

According to beautiful and bothered they really liked the metal palette, but Robert just agree with you, we should not support such a brand who treated their staff so poorly. Same as Body shop, would not buy from them.

I never liked them, and after what they did to their employees I was dead set on never buying from them. However, those new palettes with the foils in the middle have been tempting. Mostly because Johnny and Kevin said they were worth it. Despite that, I think I will just pass on them. I have more palettes than I know what's good for me, and I've been on such an indie kick with Oden's Eye, Nomad Cosmetics and Kaledios

Ugg as someone that does have her nails done, I hate..,,HATE…all these ads etc with people tapping their nails on the product! Arg….cringe

That bright orangey gold shade in the original 35O pallette was and still is my favorite eyeshadow. I can't find anything exactly the same.

There’s a palette that just came out or that I saw for the first time and it reminds me of Lunar Beauty’s Nude prism palette. Not a dupe but I guess the layout is similar and that’s what came to mind.

I recently bought the Rich & Foiled Artistry Palette - Rose to Fame for $20 (cdn). It’s not bad for the price. I am a bit underwhelmed by the shimmers and the foil, but maybe I need to use my finger w/ setting spray instead of a brush. The Huephoric Rush 3-in-1 Silk Blush seems to be getting quite a bit of positive attention. They will have to be amazing for me to buy them, because I already have a ton of blushes. Their brushes are pretty decent for the price, but I prefer the Sephora Pro brushes, even if they cost more

I just bought their pink loose powder, its brilliant for my sensitive, dry and super white skin

I own precisely one Morphe product: a big empty magnetic palette for me to put my Colourpop singles in. That was several years ago, and even that was reluctantly because I couldn't find anything else big enough here in the UK (and Colourpop didn't have any big empty palettes for sale at the time, just small ones). I've never liked Morphe. I don't like who they have associated themselves with, I was (and still am) sceptical of their products because everyone seemed to have an affiliate code and their entire marketing budget was spent on both random KZfaqrs and very unrandom, controversial KZfaqrs. At the height of their popularity, I was too poor to buy them, especially because they weren't easily accessible here. While I had tried Colourpop via a shipping company/forwarding address and had good experiences, it was expensive and I couldn't do it often. Colourpop was justifiable to me because it was a lot of fairly cheap makeup in colours and formulas that the UK was really lacking in at the time. Morphe on the other hand...that didn't seem worth it to me. It still doesn't, even when it's being sold at Boots. Every time I look at the Morphe logo on my palette, I consider covering it in stickers, and then I think about whether that would be a waste of my beautiful, precious stickers, so I've not done it yet. Someday I'll come up with a plan to keep Morphe out of my makeup!

Kat from Beauty News tried the new Morphe foundation and really loved it. It sounds very up my alley as a dry and dehydrated person. I’m not sure how I feel about giving them my money, and I have enough foundation for now. I might try it if I needed some and it was on sale.

I'm still learning these brands. Coming from the 80/90's where it was cover girl and a very mom said to do things this way situation. I've been watching your videos and I will try what you recommend and take a bit of a let's see approach. Because it feels like make up and skin care are a bit of you have to try it to understand it kind of thing? The foundation is interesting to me, because I have to switch between seasons what I do for foundations, sometimes its liquid + powder, others its just a tint. I never heard about Morphe until watching your videos, but doing my own research and seeing the outward reflection of the company by "guilt by association" kind of I never tried anything from them. I'm hesitant to as well. My main concern being that the ethics of the company, if they did a formula switch without an announcement to their eyeshadow, wouldn't they do that again? It's common practice for companies to seemingly put out a great product then go cheap once the hook has been set, then let it die off. I would be very hesitant. Companies I have found to be a bit more tried and true; e.l.f, Melt, Sigma, and Haus Labs. Though I hope you would do a full face of Unearthly Cosmetics some day! Beauty Bay is also a go to.

k so i did buy the precious metals palettes and the finger sponges they released with the brushes. The palettes were … fine i used each once and never thought about them again lol. The little finger sponges i now can’t live with out i love them ❤
