Hi handbag lover! You know I LOVE the Longchamp Le Pliage Top handle size SMALL in the cognac color from the original collection so much! I love it even more now that I've added the rings/eyelets and matching leather strap. Makes it so much more versatile! Thanks again! I just bought a small Le Pliage in Peony for summer, wish I could find your color, to do just this, I have two with the long straps, dark colors and a Neo, black, that came with a shoulder strap that I use as a cross body which I prefer. So to try this with a small bag might be perfect! Can’t wait to try, thanks so much for posting! Now to tie a scarf like you do on the bag? Hmmm!

I was waiting for this follow-up vid! You made a great tutorial and convinced me to try so I am waiting for my Le Pliage small + grommet kit! I like bags with removable straps and sadly I didn't find out about the Le Pliage Neo until after it's been discontinued. Love your videos!

I got a few Neos and they are wonderful. Look on secondary market but be careful of knock off bags. Though this looks great way to make it happen anyway.

No, no, no, thanks to you, I bought longchamp small short handle (I have neo size m and too big for my liking) and modified your way.. so, I save more money… love my short handle because it fit so much, I can even use it as my children diaper bag. Btw, for people who concerns with the straps hole, pick eyelets on 10mm size, the same size as original Longchamp hole

Hi. Just yesterday a friend went to an outlet in France and they still had 3 pieces of the neo left but only in the navy color. I was planning to get a small lepliage and do the same as this but after she messaged me I asked my friend to get the small neo from the store for me. If you get lucky like I did you still might be able to get the neo.

the bag is holding up well. Still looks the same / a little bit of wear on the corners but that has nothing to do with the strap of course. I guess I will do another video update soon again so you can see it

Hi Geri, they also have a small size with longer handles for over the shoulder wear. However I believe this small size (with longer handles) is still bigger than the small size with the top handles. It used to be like that and I think it still is (different in size).

I only found cognac in green line, where did you buy the bag?

It was in the original collection early last year.. Now only available in the green collection (with silver hardware)..

Hi Sandy! Are you the owner of Xari Collections? If so, will you be updating the Jessa strap to have darker gold hardware? Because the current hardware is a lighter gold color that doesn't 100% match the deeper gold color of the Le Pliage hardware. I love that the Jessa strap seems to be the best option for converting Le Pliage bags when compared to all the strap options on Amazon, Etsy, etc. (all marketed as real leather, but actually made of fake leather 😤), but the hardware mismatch is the only thing preventing me from buying the Jessa strap. To be honest, it seems like all the strap options out there have the same gold hardware color issue (too light), so I wonder if a deep gold color is just hard to produce or something? If you're the owner of Xari Collections, I'd love to hear from you about whether or not the Jessa strap will eventually be made with darker gold-toned hardware to 100% match the Le Pliage Original line's deep gold-toned hardware, and whether or not the Jessa strap will also eventually come in silver-toned hardware to match the silver-toned hardware of the Le Pliage Green line. Hi, it is cognac (from the 'orignal' line)
