I have to wonder how the guy in Atlanta feels right now watching this video. Merlin told the man it was his grail card and he was a huge Star Wars fan. It only took $5k for him to sell it. Then his friend sells it for $20k and now hopes it hits $100k. Guess we just need to find another guy claiming it's his grail card.

Thats with most cards, wonder how everyone feels for all the cards you bought and sold higher, doesn't make sense. Same with stocks, cryptos and real estate.

@@charlesfuchs No matter how you look at it the card went from being bought for 5k to 20k in the span of a couple months. Nothing about that card is super incredible. Super starwars fans won't pay anywhere near 20k for that card. For 20k a starwars collector could get actual memoribilia. The card is just a picture with not even autographs. Its the paid and asking price that is ridiculous. People need to sit and think what others can when they speculate on what cards can be worth in the future. That Curator guy essentially dumped Marvel cards at the high to buyers that clearly got left holding the bag after the Marvel Pump and Dump shannigans.

It doesn't get much better than "Galaxy's Edge" from Galaxy Chrome - Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, Obi-Wan and many more drawn by fan favorite comic book artist Arthur Adams.

I was admiring Galaxy's Edge today. I have the atomic refractor of that one and just love the art work. I also love the Jack Kirby Larger Than Life. Just has that amazing 70's / 80's comic book / poster art pizzazz.

I still can't get over how The Great Curator guy took advantage of his "Friend" Merlin. I've met Merlin at a show, he's a genuine guy. The Curator seems like a snake in the grass. What friend does that to you? I do think the Curator left these guys holding the bag.......plus I love to hear them trying to convince themselves that they are going to be rich off this 2021 star wars card!

I honestly hope this brings more attention to the beauty of this particular set. There is literally no reason people buy a rookie qb for 1 million dollars yet cards like these get undervalued.

We’ll time to break out my case of 1977 topps I paid 200bucks for at the national way back in Baltimore for my son cause I bought a case of 1989 bowman Tiffany baseball for my self those were the days I think I paid 400 a set for the bowman which was high way back in the day , great video

This set reminds me more of the Garbage Pail Kids 1st Chrome release or the Vibranium Marvel set than the F1 or 1st Prizm set. Just going from card stock to chromium doesn't have the staying power of a premier set. If anything, it will bring attention and value to the premier Galaxy set. Just my opinion.

I can’t stand the curator anymore and truly believe he is terrible for the hobby. What’s worse is I actually thought merle was a decent, honest, and genuine guy. Now, he’s just as bad as the gc imo. I lost all respect for him.
