Boglins are back and it sounds like hundreds of Walmarts are carrying them in stores now and not just online. Not sure if Walmarts in Canada will stock them or just the ones in the US.

Laura, since you're not big on Transformers but love dinosaurs might I recommend watching the show "Beast Wars"? It's basically Transformers but with animals and a darn good story that's easy to follow even for non-TF fans. The DVD is out of print and can fetch an extremely high price but thankfully someone made all the episodes available to watch for on KZfaq.

All the generations of toys take me back to my childhood people say my apartment looks like a toy shop .. + Laura has got the most beautiful face .. love watching her videos

The new CG He-man is pretty decent, if taken as a stand alone kids cartoon. Much better than the Kevin Smith Motu. Mostly because there was no expectations for it. Calgary Walmarts are stocked to the brim with toys this year.

Those Beast Wars Transformers like Optimus Primal and Megatron are reissues of the orginal Beast Wars figures from the late 90s. If you consider how much more expensive the toy production has become since then, those prices ain´t bad.

Your Wal-Mart is 1000 times more stocked than mine has been for the past year. As far as that He-Man show goes - it's a lot of fun, totally new spin on the story mythos but has the spirit/vibe of the classic cartoon. It's fun, actiony, fun character designs and personality. A fun cartoon - not a bleak, bitter, no hope revisit of a series by grizzled old people that forgot how to be kids ;-)

Those goofy masks would be cool if used like on Pee Wees Playhouse when he would do the regular head, puppet body dancing thing with the black screen

Walmart’s in Toronto have been getting stock in though hard to get at times. Disney McFarlane Mirrorverse (Mickey, Goofy, Sulley, Belle), McFarlane Batman Classic TV series, SW Bad Batch, Infinity Saga Captain America, GI Joe Snake Eyes, Marvel retro figures (Silver Surfer, Stealth Iron Man recently). Game Stop has the Ark and Dracula Transformers. And at Walmart you maybe interested in Greenlight Hollywood die cast (Dexter, The Rookie) and the Tiny TVs (South Park, Back to the Future, Friends, and Batman classic TV series). Happy toy shopping Laura, stay legendary.

The Walmart's in our area actually give you the impression they are trying to get out of the Toy business. We have been buying for Christmas and they just don't carry the products for kids like they used to. This was going on a few years before the Pandemic so you can't blame it on that.

The walmart near me has some old school Real Ghostbuster toys from the 80s and some of the new Afterlife figures

Back in the 80s and 90s,,,,stores like K-mart and Hills had toy dept. selections that put Wally-world selection to shame! Transormers,Star Wars, G.I. Joe,,,lots more TMNT,etc etc TONS ! Not to mention the prices back then,,,,haha. Oh well,,,Time marches on.

You're talking about prices looking at the Transformers, the plastic in toys have gone drastically up in the last 2 years at least, if I point out one example, a Deluxe Class Transformer used to be priced at 19,97$, then they went up at 29,97$, and they went up again in the past few months to 32,97$!!! Which is ridiculous! Voyager Classes are now 39,99$ and Leader Classes are at 79,99$! (even those Walmart exclusive Beast Wars figures are way overpriced!), so your Walmart is not much different than the ones that are here in Quebec. As for Halloween decoration, I love those! I bought that DJ Skeleton that you tried, couldn't resist it! And Halloween decorations don't always have to be bloody, of course. Thanks for sharing, Laura! XXXX

I am surprise to see your store has Slug, while mine is still stuck in pre-order online. I never see Transformers Studio Series 86 Slag on the shelves.

I like the new He-Man cgi series on Netflix. More so than the Kevin Smith He-Man Revelations. I think it has a nice little twist to the characters and story

That’s pretty much the same story at the Walmart’s here in Edmonton. Not a lot of Star Wars stuff other than the Galaxy of Adventures figures and some vintage collection figures. The Galaxy of Adventures figures are worth the money!

There aren't any Walmart stores where I live, the closest thing would be Big W.
