People getting 90+percentile Still cant get good branch in nit because of reservation So obviously they will look for private colleges with a good branch. Anf that doesn't mean that those students are not intelligent, its just they dont have any option left because of reservation. And also few private colleges are there in india having a very good placement record as compared to mid and lower nits.

@Rudr 1. 90 percentile is nowhere a good score 90 percentile means 1lakh 10 thousand rank.. 2. A general can get seat in nit and iiit till 84 percentile 3. Some pvt colleges only includes bits pilani,and some few private iiits and some other . Except this no pvt colleges no other pvt colleges have god roi..tye investment one does to study in kiit,vit,mit ,srm ,tiet are atleast 22lakh+ and still they can't even get 6 lakh package and half of them are unemployed. 4. I know reservation sucks but still the no of intelligent students is much more than any other pvt colleges, except bits,iiit 5.leave the sc , st candidates because majority of them are not able to get placed in the campus. So the actual deserving ones get. 6.
