@@huraann u pre farm them in advance , as free to play player u need to start farming 1 month in advance or above based on how much primos u can extract from ur world , do all your commissions , events , and World quest if not finished , time trials etc

I guess I had ‘s tier’ luck during his first run; when I was pulling for him, I got a double. I was also debating getting the weapon, so after I freaked out over the double, was thankful that it made me decision quite easy.

Thanks for the video. I just pulled Kazuha, which was my first priority, and I was considering this very question. I picked Kazuha because I already have C0 Neuvillette but I didn't have Kazuha.

A wise choice. C1 or Tome would only buff Neuvillette himself. But with Kazuha you can now buff Neuvillette and other characters too if you want. I would have done the same in your place.

You should have compared C0 Neuv with sig and Furina vs C1 Neuv with Pt. Amber and Furina

I wanted his C1 because of the no interruption. And yeah I plan on using Furina with him at some point too. Lucky for me, I got his C1 pretty easily since I was saving all of those Intertwined Fates since 4.4. I think I might keep using his trial though since I haven't gotten used to his gameplay yet (and I want to) and I am still building him up too.

Honestly, I always feel that weapons are a better choice if you're not too attached to the character while constellations are not only for maining a character and making him/her meta but also for the sake of unleashing it's full potential. If you're happy with what the character has to offer as is. Go for the weapon.(Also if u like to collect characters, weapons etc.) And if you're really set on unleashing the character's extra potential, then go for cons. It's just my personal thought. Others are free to disagree and debate. Btw, love you shark, keep doing what you're doing.

I agree with what you’re saying usually but I think specifically for neuvilette it’s different since his weapon is pretty useless on every other character, unlike characters like Hu Tao, raiden, Ayaka, ayato, Yelan, Childe etc. who all have amazing and versatile weapons. In this case the investment for neuvilette weapon would be a lot higher for the weapon than his c1 (240 vs 180 pulls) and both are investments for him and him alone, so I think in this case specifically the constellation would be better and actually more versatile too since it gives him teams with more characters. But in general I think you make a good point (except that the weapon banners a scam💀)

I guess the question is whether you're all in on Neuvillette or not. His weapon doesn't great for anyone but Neuvillette (it's not an Aqua Simulacra or Staff of Homa). I'd say the weapon is still the better choice because you can mitigate the C1 issue with a shielder... and we all have Noelle/Geo Traveller.

But my opinion was not boundes by him alone. It was for all existing characters and upcoming characters in general.

Neuvillette is the first time I've considered getting C1 on a 5star. I'm not there yet where I can actively pursue that, too many other characters still to get, but the myth of building pity is a thing. No luck yet though.

If you have enough wishes to get at least two max pity weapons and then some, I would suggest weapon. If not, the progress towards guarantee doesn't carry over, so I would suggest going for character banner every time so that you work towards pity on that. With Nuevillette specifically, his C1 is night and day difference for play. You don't have to keep him shielded or lose half of his charge attack randomly from pretty small hits. You can run double hydro and get more HP from the resonance, and it's faster and easier to max out his charge attack damage. Not to mention he has a pretty good weapon to use that is craftable with Prototype Amber giving max HP and often enough team healing to not use a support with only having other characters out long enough to use skill and burst

I had 172 wishes on me. I know I got a great chance of getting C1 Neuvi (had him already), but as for the weapon....well if I wanted it, I definitely would like 90 more wishes for that. Weapon banner can be cruel and c1 team flexibility with Furina was nicer (and sentimental reasons, I definitely like the idea of them being paired). Me thinking like this before seeing this video means that Shark's vids are making me smarter 🎉

I was debating this with myself last night and i decided to just roll for the tome out of impulse. I got it and a duplicate for R2 within 50 rolls. Is R2 of Tome undeniable better than sacrificial jade which is 2nd best in slot? i heard a lot of people say it’s comparable to neauvillette but just wondering if R2 increases the damage gap

Been considering this for a while, and had saved 60-ish wish. But since I had like 50 pity on character banner and 40 on weapon, I decided to screw it and went for both (Both were also 50/50). And let's just say luck is on my side and now my Neuvy is sitting comfortably at C1R1 (with freedom sworn as added bonus XD)

I’m a mobile player and got his C1! The difference with interruption is amazing. I’m bad at games too, which made everything sooo much easier. Just gotta get some good artifact rolls for him now. 😭

If you get battlepass, sacrificial jade preforms within 11% of r1 tome and at r5 its less than 1% off r1 tome, and actually better in vaporize teams. Definitely rhe best value if you are going to be spending $$ on primogems.

Protoype amber. He will be your healer and dmg dealer at the same time. His charge attacks scale off of HP%.

I grabbed his book. With all the shielders in this game, why not? I paired him with kazuha, Layla and yae. This ensures he's protected and can get his 3 stacks from reactions for maximum damageś. Now, I was lucky enough to get nuevillette with 40 wishes. This was great considering I got navia and 1 constellation the last time I wished. Which was on her banner so I was really excited. However, I rarely wish for weapons. So I got the worst case scenario. But it wasn't all bad because I managed to get 2 freedom sworns on my way to getting nuevillette's book. I kind of feel like if you wish on a weapon banner that has a lot of value, then it's not that bad. I regret not wishing on the banner that had the staff of houma and aqua semulacra.😅

What if you have both the weapon and C1? I got both my Neuvilettes in 140 pulls - which also got me another 5* character which will remain nameless and will never be used. I got Kazuha in 80 pulls, which means I got four 5* characters in 220 pulls. To make things even better, I ended up C6'ing all three featured 4* characters. Feeling luck on my side, I decided to try getting Kazuha's sword. On my 40th pull I got Neuvillette's weapon. I was a little bit upset beccause I didn't think I'd end up getting the sword and there was no way I was going to try again after the 100th pull. But guess what? I got the sword on my 80th pull. Lady Luck was with me last night. So what do you think a C1 Neuvillette will be like with his weapon?

I got Neuvillette at pity 28 and his weapon at pity 59. I actually got lucky with his weapon, as I was simply putting in a 10x pull each time a new weapon banner comes out, slowly building pity. By luck I got the Tome of the Eternal Flow this time around.

I got lucky getting his weapon (won the 50:50) and C0 (guaranteed) on first banner that appear in 4.1 patch and thinking about getting the constellation this week. Later i pulled Dehya on pity 75 (i lost the 50:50). i got punished by the greed 😂 i really want to run him with Furina tho 😥

Help! Right now I'm at AR 44, should I spend fragile resins to build my characters quickly or do it slowly and spend it all on artifact farming at AR 45.

You spend fragile or building core team members, not artifact. Artifact farms start at 45, but you don't need to get a good artifact immediately. I think leveling up talent and weapons comes first.

160 pull, got 2 Freedom Sworn n Tome Eternal Flow. Now I have to think which sword user gonna use the extra Freedom Sworn wkwkwk. Since I got Neuvie C0 with Prototype Amber R3 in his debut banner, I finally got 36 stars until now. With his Tome, now it get lot easier. But I do have to compromise with using Circlet CR (58:258 Crit Value) compare with Circlet CDM (27:308). For now, I keep my leftover Primos for Arlechinno

Save for Arclecchinno. But if you must - his C4 is useless without his C6. His C5 is garbage. So weapon refining is better.

Yep went for homa and some dockhands for Kirara got the flow and atlas in about 70 wishs and r3 dockhand pulled nuevalette and I'm 25 wishs or so from next 5star.

Guys help me: I got kazuha in this banner because i like his play style and versatility. Now i have 138 pulls leftover. Should i go for his C1 pr wait for Furina? My situation: My main DPSes are Ayaka and Hu Tao. I use C6 Xingqiu for my Hu Tao but my Ayaka's performance is severely hampered due to lack of good hydro support ( lets ignore Barbara) . That's why I want Furina. Now please help to decide

Man can't gurantee what 4* would run along him even in nxt rerun, they usually lure us to undesired 5* banners by giving nice 4*s in it

C2 is only a 10% dmg increase. It's best to stop at c1 or c3.

Something to consider: if you have his best hypercarry team (Furina/Kazuha/Zhongli), between his signature and his C1, the better choice will generally be the weapon. Mainly because that team doesn't need to change regardless of having C1, so the resistance to interruption will be made redundant for that particular team. For someone like me, who only plays Neuvillette on said team, the weapon is considerably more effective, and thus more enticing. Replacing Zhongli with a healer, while having its advantages, isn't crucial because Neuvillette can fully stack Fanfare by himself even with a C0 Furina. On the other hand, Zhongli's shield gives a universal 20% resistance shred which stacks with VV shred, not to mention that he can also have the option of buffing elemental dmg by 35% with the Archaic Petra artifact set. It's a short buff, but will definitely make a big difference on his opening attack, which is a very welcome bonus.

I lost to Tighnari damn it 🤣in order to get his C1 (hard pity over 80 pull) BUT I got Neuvillette signature weapon only in 30 pull so I'm more than happy 🤩 maybe next time I will try again because my primos left 5k+ need to save up again to get Arlecchino , good news I know now I'm on guaranteed 😁, even at C0 still satisfied, my Neuvillette still crazy good, lucky I already have Furina, Kazuha and Baizhu so this is my premium team right now, wipe out everything in the abyss with ease

Neuvilette is wild. I can't even do his rotations well, and I was destroying Abyss 12 floors in under 1-min. Was planning for C1 but it might be overkill. I LOVE Navia, but Neuv is next level.

C1 and Prototype Amber especially with Furina. Hydro resonance, Healing from catalyst, tankier team (no dps if dead), faster Fanfare stacks, and saves your primogems for other characters that would be even better to add to your team like Kazuha c0. Kazuha c0 is better than every weapon in the game.

I'd definitely recommend getting his C1 over his weapon if you're trying to decide between both. Opens up his team versatility a lot and makes sure you can deal damage constantly, his weapon is a great damage boost, but that's it.

Got his weapon from last banner because i want homa that time and decided to skip his first banner, Got 210 wish and guaranteed neuvillette, got him in 20 pull , then i tried to get c1 and lose to qiqi c3 at 70 pull, have around 130 wish left decided to all in for his c1 because guaranteed , got his c1 at 50+ pull+ extra mona c2, now im guaranteed for next banner and have 70 wish left not including star glitter i got

Furina's buffing is much higher dmg than sig - 35% dmg loss (A1 passive: 160% - 125%) & running a shielder instead of a dps/buffer is an additional loss. Not running a shielder can result in interuption / loosing water orbs (witch is big dps loss). On paper sig weapon looks good but still is only 5% better than r5 sac jade or 18% better than r1 sac jade (according to KQM calcs). Duckfero's calcs give c1 at least 20% dmg improvement if you get extra level from a1 passive.

In furina teams sac jade preforms even better due to the lower ER requirements. R5 sac jade is within 1% of tome in his best hyper carry team with furina.

That 35% is a multiplier increase not a damage bonus, like Acheron for hsr if you know about her.
