What a cute little washer woman. Tis video reminds me of on I was a kid, this is how my mother and grandmother did there wash. They used Fels Nathan soap. Good job!

Great job Britt. At least you didn’t have to scrub on river rocks. I can remember we had an electric washer but we had to run it through the wringer like you did. We hung the clothes on a line with a pulley to dry? No dryers then.

Fels Napa and Zote are most popular, you could also make your own pretty easily if you know how to make soap

The wringer i used to have had a quick release to open it up and start the clothes then close it to crank. I wonder if you backed off the tensioner to start the laundry would help you.
