The only plus on rental is that the bike I believe is fully covered. So, if the tablet or the bike has issues, it gets replaced at no cost to you. However, when you buy the bike you are only covered for one year. Much to think about.

So so glad I got my bike plus. I know that they have talk back on the tread now as well, however I like the small footprint of the bike as well as the quietness of the bike. Also I hate running with a passion.

Worth noting I chatted with Peloton on their website and they said all rentals ship new bikes.

good to hear, but I personally have been told false things by Peloton chat before so not sure I'd trust them on this. Especially given the website says "Rented Peloton Bikes are a mix of new and refurbished Bikes that are thoroughly inspected, repaired, and tested to ensure they pass our quality inspection in order to be ready for you to start riding at home. Refurbished Peloton Bikes may have slight cosmetic damage such as minor scratches."

I just rented and got a refurbished bike that is in bad condition - the frame is lopsided and you can see the welding is all uneven - also scraps on the fly wheel which also isn't centered. I asked the delivery guy to take it but he would not so I called Peloton. When I decided to rent it I was told it would be a new bike. Peloton had me send photo's of the bike and they now are picking up and replacing the bike. If I get another flawed back I'm sending it back. They also included in the deal free bike shoes and a set of weights.

Tore my acl and will basically need to use a bike for a while before anything else. 89 for 3-4 months wouldn’t be bad

Stick with Real Numbers. 90$/moth is 90$/month. Some of us wouldn't pay that 44$ for the monthly and would of gone with the 12$ hack deal for the monthly subscription or lack there of, so 90$ is 90$ to bundle the terminology is not a fair or real comparison.
