PFF has the Chargers as 26th best team in the NFL and their strongest unit being EDGE and weakest being WR. I agree with most of the article and you can find it here! www.pff.com/news/nfl-roster-r...
Tarheeb Still and Ja'Sir Taylor are going to be competing for the starting Nickel CB job on the Chargers roster through training camp. Will the rookie win or the veteran win? Here are some highlights and film breakdown
The Chargers 2024 draft class and UDFAs could have a major role if they prove themselves in training camp and the preseason. Joe Alt, Ladd McConkey, Junior Colson, Justin Eboigbe, Tarheeb Still, and other Chargers rookies are expected to have some highlights and I'll be sure to do film breakdowns on their preseason games and training camp clips!
Zion Johnson was drafted in the 1st round by the Chargers, can Jim Harbaugh and Greg Roman get the most out of him playing next to Rashawn Slater and Bradley Bozeman? Here are his highlights and a full all 22 film breakdown.
Ladd McConkey will be drafted highly in fantasy football this year because Justin Herbert will be throwing tons of touchdowns and highlights to him for the Chargers. Jim Harbaugh and Gerg Roman will utilize him well and he will be the number 1 WR in terms of production as long as he stays healthy.
Jim Harbaugh has hired another former 49ers player as a coach on the Chargers in Delanie Walker through the Bill Walsh program. He'll be a temporary coach through training camp and preseason but we'll see if he can be a permanent TE coach for us, I would love that!
Chargers OTAs and minicamp are all over and their practice will continue in training camp soon. Here is everything that Jim Harbaugh, Greg Roman, Jesse Minter, have said in interviews and all the players that have had highlights and stood out so far in camp!
Tarheeb Still is improving in OTAs and minicamp according to Jesse Minter interview. Deane Leonard, Asante Samuel Jr. and Tarheeb Still are the Chargers CBs that have been highlights in chargers practices.
Daiyan Henley was the 3rd round pick in the 2023 draft for the Chargers and this year the Chargers drafted Junior Colson in the 3rd round. Will Jesse Minter and Jim Harbaugh use Daiyan Henley in a way for him to breakout in year 2?
Hayden Hurst had some highlights at OTAs this week for the Chargers and Jim Harbaugh must be taking notice of this.
Breaking news the Los Angeles Chargers signed Alex Leatherwood the Las Vegas Raiders first round pick in 2021. The LT out of Alabama will give the chargers OL help and competition for Trey Pipkins and Jamaree Salyer at the RG and RT spots.
The Chargers signed 21 UDFA after the 2024 NFL Draft and they were: Karsen Barnhart, Casey Bauman, Luke Benson, Akeem Dent, Jaelen Gill, Thomas Harper, Zach Heins, Savion Jackson, Jeremiah Jean-Baptiste, Leon Johnson, Jaylen Johnson, Robert Kennedy, Micheal Mason, Tre'Mon Morris-Brash, Tyler McLellan, Willis Patrick, Jalyn Phillips, Zamari Walton, Luquay Washington, Bucky Williams.
The Chargers drafted Joe Alt, Ladd McConkey, Junior Colson, Justin Eboigbe, Tarheeb Still, Cam Hart, Kimani Vidal, Brenden Rice, and Cornelius Johnson.
Jim Harbaugh has now officially hired Jesse Minter, Greg Roman, Andy Bischoff, NaVorro Bowman, Marcus Brady, Steve Clinkscale, Shane Day, Mike Devlin, Mike Elston, Chris Gould, Sanjay Lal, Rick Minter, Robert Muschamp, Chris O'Leary, Dylan Roney, Marc Trestman, and Ryan Ficken.

Seems pretty clear that those who actually pay attention to the chargers know it’s been a great off season, while the general media thinks it’s been garbage.

Look I’ve never been this excited about a head coach and staff since Marty. All I do know is that the hard work and dedication will show on the field I’m excited for the first time in a long time. Bobby Ross was another exciting coach for us the only man to take us to the Super Bowl.

our wide receiver room is not our biggest weakness. Josh is a beast who always just needed more throws and time to get into the probowl, and good Ladd is obviously going to contribute. New star potential tight end and receiving back too? Justin is going to Brady and Manning up some talent this year in the receiving category, I'm telling you. Our biggest weakness is going to be our cornerbacks and safetys, against elite quarterbacks in playoff bound teams. we are truly screwed no matter what we do on offense, if our secondary cant compete well against quality teams.

@PhoenixFlamezz 18 күн бұрын
Except he's misreading it. I agree with you that in 2024 it will be much better than the secondary, but the article is talking about the 23 WR squad. And the 23 WR room, KA aside, was terrible!

I think CB and DT have way less depth. I think the media is really lazy. They cover too many teams at once and don’t actually do a deep dive. Because the chargers didn’t draft Malik Nabers the pea brain sports media thinks we didn’t do the right thing in covering up our biggest “hole”, according to the extremely smart experts.

Only thing that matters is qb and coaching staff.Everybody else relies in those two things to succeed. If you make it to the NFL, you are an elite football player.Comes down to schemes, preparation, motivation and QB

I’m not sure if I agree with the #26 ranking, but I don’t know the rosters off all 32 teams. Bottom half - probably, #26 - not sure. I look for Harbaugh to get the most out of these players.

10:36 the Chargers may have a super easy schedule as far as win loss percentage. However our Travel schedule and Milage is worst/hardest in the league this year.

Who cares what PFF or any analysts have to say about the Chargers? It's a completely different era now, this is going to be a totally different team in 2024. Pundits say even Jim Harbaugh can't improve the Chargers from 5 wins to enough wins to make the playoffs. But completely over-looked is the fact the Chargers lost each of the 4 games Herbert missed in 2023, skewing last year's win total. There are 32 teams in the NFL. PFF doesn't know them all. Every fan thinks their team won the off-season this time of year. I don't look at the moves/additions/deletions made by the Chargers. I look at who is in charge now compared to who as in charge. And that is where the real difference lies. Rich Eisen, a Michigan alum who knows Harbaugh well, is convinced he's going to have the Chargers playing at a elite level this season. Rookies report in 6 days.

They are probably right. And that’s fine. Remember these are week 1 rankings basically. We got a lot of new players, as they get used to the scheme and get more experience I expect us to climb the rankings

I'm surprised by the national view of the Chargers. They have talent and you can win a lot of games with a good pass-rush and a pretty good running game and a good quarterback. I don't get it, but I'd rather fly under the radar and win than get hyped up and lose again.

I think Jim Harbaugh constructed our WR room w a purpose, which is nobody who is a “star” receiver. With him being an Exe NFL QB, he knows how star WRs can impact a QBs progression. If you don’t believe me, watch the Tom Brady interview w, I believe it was Cowherd. He talks about this specific point. Also, I’m sure you will remember Herbies rookie season where he was most efficient in delivering the duke to players like T Billy and Guyton and just whoever was open. He was throwing to them in training camp because he was to be the backup QB. My conclusion, don’t sleep on this WR group. It would be foolish. Keep up the good work! 💪🙏⚡️

I think Chargers surprise this season, I think they become top 4-5 football team in the NFL, do let the WR room fool you, Palmer is better then hes being laid out, Ladd will come out swinging and Qball will be the up and coming shocker, I think Vidal will be the future of this team, I see Edwards having a rough time in the back field, JK hopefully stays healthy tho Im not counting on it, Vidal will be the wind on our backs and sail us into the promise land. Defense will be the biggest gain, I think we have top 3 Defense this year or better, I just feel it. I predict: 12-5 season

PFF loves receivers, right? If they Chargers sign a single top 20 receiver (maybe they can't do that idk) I wonder if the win total prediction would change.
