I will say I'm a big mopar fan have been for a very time. If this is true Pontiac will be a force to reckon with. I bought a 09 Pontiac g8 gt 6.0 L and let me tell you that thing moves. With some simple mods it will destroy half the muacle cars on the road in 2024. And don't let it be supercharged it's a wrap. The charger has always been my favorite dodge product but if the g8 had lasted as long as the charger it will of gave it a run for the money

WS6 4th gen was one of the best looking cars ever made. i have a 99 SS but i really would like to get a clean WS6 but itll be expensive. i had an 05 GTO and that was a fun car. lightly modded but it surprised a lot of other cars.

Do you realize 1926 was the inception of Pontiac and 2026 will be the hundred year anniversary and plus they are taking away the Camaro so of course they are going to come back. Pontiac was a very good muscle car. GTO, Grand prix, firebird and Trans Am. They brought back The GTO a few yrs ago, don't think they sold many of those. I brought a Trans Am Anniversary Edition in the mid 90's. T -tops honeycomb gold rims, life was good back then. Shit hole now.

Not particularly a Pontiac fan, but after my 3.8 231 turbo v6 grand national, the 3.8 supercharged v6 gran prix gtp was the closest I could find and it was ok. Front wheel drive sucked, but it was a decent power plant. Certainly not the turbo Buick, but the Buick would smoke a hellcat with bolt ons, let alone what I did to it.

Me personally, I want GM to take over with their Cadillac line! The truth is that a lot of us AMG guys are and were American muscle guys first, except we desire luxury-muscle! Before Cadillac brought back their newer V model, there was no American luxury-muscle car. I mean, if you wanna say that the old ones were luxury-muscle, you can, but they weren't close enough to AMG with the tech or the power! Since the Mopar line was so strong, that left AMG as the only option to have a luxury-muscle car that can either beat or hang with Mopar! So, I need Cadillac to really up the tech and the power in their cars. America is so long overdue for a true luxury-muscle car, and I mean true luxury that has all the bells and whistles that AMG has as far as tech and amenities! Cadillac should have been competing with both regular Mercedes and AMG a long time ago. The Europeans have been so ahead of the game for too damn long! This is America, which means we are supposed to be ahead of the game. So, we need Cadillac to stop playing and give us a true luxury-muscle car that is some true quality! IJS!

Pontiac isn't completely dead. Some guys that worked there took over the name. They have been making the "Bandit " trans-am for several years now (look up 2018 bandit) they have a custom machine they even made for the t-top and use camaro as the doner . new bigger engine even.

Its sad to see dodge getting rid of the charger and challenger. They should have at-least kept one. Similar to chevy which is keeping the corvette, but tbh, I’m pretty sure they would have a tough time removing the single oldest American sport car still in production. Mustang is second, they should have kept the charger and worked on emissions, drop displacement, add twin turbo… ect. No need to get rid of the v8 and make electric crap. Shit bmw still making v8s. I know they didnt get “rid” of the charger, but the only charger about that thing is the port.
