I like red lobster. A scam is goin to a Vegas restaurant and paying $70 for a steak and $15 for each side item.

I have a friend who said him and his friends used to go to Red Lobster and each one of them would eat 15 to 20 plates of shrimp.I read that last year Red Lobster had at least 1 quarter when they lost money,mostly due to the endless shrimp promotion.

I love the coconut shrimp. I don't think it's a scam. You had a nice plate of shrimp. I just had fried shrimp at the beach and got 10 shrimp with a single side. The shrimp were the same size if not small. It was really a quick service situation. $20. You had way more food than I got for just a few more $$. It seems like you enjoyed it. Seems like a win.

Never eat your sides. Get a box and take them home. And yes you can take your sides home just not shrimp because the shrimp is AYCE not the sides. And don’t have the biscuits. Remember you are there for the shrimp. 🍤 Plus don’t eat the rice put it in the box with your other sides. Plus never get the shrimp linguine. The pasta is just a filler just like the sides. Also if you pinch off the tail you don’t waste the shrimp. It’s ok to use your fingers to eat the scampi. Remember you are there for the Shrimp 🍤 It’s all about the shrimp 🍤 not the sides and biscuits. It is not a scam. If you would have ate just the shrimp you would feel like you got your moneys worth. Plus if you don’t get the breaded shrimp it’s less filler in you stomach. When we go we only get one breaded the whole time we are there. Then just get the skewers and scampi. Prices do vary. We put the grilled in to the butter that the scampi is in. The sauce that come with the coconut shrimp is Pina Colada sauce. It’s not suppose to be a savory sauce. It’s interesting that you thought it tasted like a dessert. Remember you are there for the Shrimp 🍤

it's not a scam but it would be worth it only if you have about 5 or 6 refills at least on top of your first order then it would be worth it

It's a scam nowadays, it's used to be worth it. they take forever to bring the extra shrimp and when they do its only a very small portion, it makes you irritated

Coconut shrimp is my favorite. My strategy is. Order the broccoli as a side, never the potato. Have only one biscuit. Eat mostly grilled shrimp, coconut shrimp, and shrimp scampi. You reorder when they bring out your order. Two items at a time. The longer you wait the fuller you become. At the end I might get the shrimp alfredo or the walts favorite shrimp. When you order the grilled, tell them to leave the rice off. I dip my broccoli a little bit into the shrimp scampi sauce for a flavor boost. I avoid the popcorn shrimp. To much bread to shrimp ratio.

Derek I think you are the only person on KZfaq who knows how to eat the whole shrimp including that last piece of the tail.

We were there about three weeks ago for the same thing. We stayed away from the filling Alfredo. And we both got broccoli instead of a heavier side. My favorites are Walt’s and the scampi. I do not care for the coconut shrimp at all. I believe we each had 7 helpings of shrimp (3-2-2). We got our money’s worth 😎

It's not a scam. You take all the sides & biscuits home and eat only shrimp. Bring your own containers in case they will not provide one for the sides.

Red Lobster is nostalgic for us. It was our special occasion place to eat when we were young and broke! I love the coconut shrimp and the pineapple dipping sauce!

I ❤ Red Lobster. The Walt's Shrimp is my absolute favorite! I recommend the Fried Flounder also. It is really lightly breaded like the Walt's shrimp and the mild and flaky. I enjoyed this video. Thanks for sharing. 👍

I enjoy all of the shrimp choices although I never order the Walt's Favorite Shrimp because it's excessively salty, and I'm not the kind of person who is bothered by saltier foods. I think the breading could be better as well. I think Red Lobster's alfredo sauce is more flavorful than Olive Garden's. Interestingly, I've never had the Shrimp Alfredo served to me with tail-on shrimp. The Coconut Shrimp is my favorite. The yummy sauce seems to be crushed pineapple in yogurt with some other ingredients added such as maybe coconut milk or Mexican crema. I like that Red Lobster features some new shrimp varieties on occasion, but in my experience they often run out of them or simply don't have them available when they are supposed to.

Great video. Just an FYI for anyone who cares, I have made the cheddar bay biscuits from the red lobster mix at the grocery store and they are awesome! So if you have a hankering for the biscuits but are on a budget, I definitely recommend.

My strategy was to eat all the other kinds of shrimp I wanted first. Ate part of my side of broccoli and then for my last shrimp dish I'd get the alfredo and add the rest of my broccoli to it. I'd also limit myself to just one or two of the cheddar biscuits. Love to eat those along with a salad.

I love Red Lobster and their shrimp and biscuits♥♥♥ Actually, I loved everything you both picked. The noodle Alfredo, baked potato, broccoli and all the different shrimps.

I did this 2 yrs ago and ate 72 (I remember that # bc I texted my cousin right away). The problem with my experience is they brought a couple at a time, then check on you every 15 minutes, and during that time you get satiated. If they would bring you 3 at a time like in your case, and more often faster you could eat more. I can't complain though. Also, shrimp never as big as on tv commercials.

Just had the AYCE shrimp buffet at Red Lobster in Hialeah , Florida at $20! My favorites were the Walts, Coconut & Scampi! No bad!

They sell that biscuit mix in the store here in Canada.

I really miss the lobster poppers they used to have when they had lobster fest. They were so good!

Shrimp is really filling especially breaded. Of course you may want a add on. Those cheddar biscuits aren’t the same from back in the days. Quite sure they’re chemically enhanced. Factor in drinks, salad and maybe dessert and your bill is going to be more than what you paid for endless shrimp.

The endless shrimp is my favorite from Red Lobster but you have to order a few platefuls to really take advantage of it. It is definitely not a scam

That deal is $25 by me, up from $20. I don't eat the sides and biscuits. Take them home! I have no problem getting my money's worth!

The Red Lobsters in my state are alway good. They are constantly good. Never get anything wrong no matter how many are in our group. My favorite? Walts Fried Shrimp.

Same exact deal here in NJ and its only 17.99 .. and just like others stated , ordering those sides instead of concentrating on just shrimp was your own fault .. !! Sorry

These all you can/care to eat deals are good if you have a big appetite. Otherwise, not worth it. I do enjoy Red Lobster but lately they have been drowning the food in butter. We ate there 2 weeks ago, so much butter, I was sick later that evening. Never happened before. Guess I'm getting old. Next time I'll stick to crab legs or grilled items 😂.

I only want 2 of the shrimp choices, scampi and grilled. To start I get 2 scampi and 1 grilled. I take the scampi from one of the dishes and put them in the other and pour the garlic butter into my baked tater. It has been a few years since I had this deal. I think it was $19.99 the last time. I think scam is too strong a word for something that I can (with no problem) eat many of those. I say no to the rice and never get the pasta one or the fried ones. Now if they would only do the same type of deal for crawfish...oh heaven for me!

I never have a bad experience when it comes to Endless Shrimp! I get they need to try to make a few bucks extra, and I probably don’t need all of the portions, LOL. $27 is once in awhile pricing. In fact, last night, I spent $14 on two boxes of their branded (probably made by ConAgra or something) Cheddar Bay Biscuit and Popcorn Coconut Shrimp. Made them at home and they were delicious! It’s a nice alternative when it’s 11:30PM, LOL!

Salt and vinegar shrimp MIGHT just tempt me into a Red Lobster!

I used to Love Red Lobster. I actually worked there for six years. But in 22 they quit serving shrimp cocktail. Wtf? Never heard of a seafood restaurant that didn’t serve shrimp cocktail. That’s just crazy.

The latest news about Red Lobster is that because of losing so much money on the endless shrimp deal, alot of restaurants will be closing for good .......What a shame......Those deals are too good to pass up so it costs them dearly........You CAN'T give good food away and expect to stay in business......

Just take a big ziplock bag and put them in it then your purse. I used to do that in the winter at a buffett and put chicken and other meats in a ziplock bag then in my jacket pockets. I do not eat shrimp now because I got some shrimp at a Long John Silver one time and it made me sick for 2 days, so I do not eat shrimp any more.

Never had a bad meal at RL but if I was in your town save $5 go to your Aisia buffet also all you can eat crab. Nice thanks at least I can do this one in Cincy OH

Depends on the restaurant. Back in the day we would take as much home as we ate at the restaurant.

Plenty of Chinese all you can eat places have shrimp for under $15 for lunch every day.

I don’t think it’s a scam but the endless shrimp isn’t worth it and gets repetitive fast when you can only order the same few things over and over again. At that price, just pay a bit more and go get AYCE sushi also seafood and much more variety.

Many years ago I ordered the all you can eat shrimp at Red lobster in Medford Oregon never been back Thay served 4 shrimp with a 20 min wait for every 4 shrimp served so disapointing
