I hope so, especially since the main villain of GvK was very much personal to Godzilla (Mechagodzilla being literally possessed by Ghidorah). It's better that this one has a villain for Kong.

Anybody think Scar King could fight Ghidorah?

His cunning intelligence in making his own hunting tools and combat makes him a formidable threat Godzilla and Kong.

Kong can do this too to an extent that he rips trees out of the ground and shapes them into spears but not so far that he actually sharpens boulders as spear heads for those. I heard I one of the videos that the beast titan as I like to call it could also use monsters not unlike hunting hounds which would make its cunning ever more intimidating.

My theory: Grandpa kong was walking around his territory, finds scar. He takes him in as he has no place to go. The local kongs did not like him but grandpa kong, as the leader insisted that they bring him in so even though they didn't want him they let him in. As an outsider they bullied him while grandpa kong was away. Then when he grew up he caused trouble which lead to his exile. He trained, built his own weapons and army. He then forcefully took the lands and killed, enslaved and tortured the kongs as they stood no chance against his weapons, army and hollow earth energy strikes. Grandpa kong guides father kong and his friends and sacrifices himself to let his children, family and some of his villagers run away, scar king quickly catches him and some of the escapees but some still escaped. Some went to skull island, some died on the way, some went to other places then all the escapees died and kong was born, and survived. Then the later events happened leading to gxk. Kong went around and explored the huge hollow earth, he found many more of the handprints and followed them leading to scar king's domain. Kong was fascinated by the discovery of more of his kind, they were the first other kongs he ever met other than his mother which was for a few moments. Scar king leads him around and shows him everything the once he was distracted, whipped his arm with the bone whip injuring his arm, he tries to fight back but was overpowered and outsped so he ran as fast as he could and barely gets away alive, almost losing hi arm and lost his axe in the process, thinking of his life choices and realising what he did to all the kongs and gets angry, swearing to take his revenge. Then he goes up, gets a gauntlet and meets with the new and pink g-man. Some side quests were done and finally The fighting happens and after a long and bloody battle, scar king and his army gets defeated. 2battle will be that scar king catches the two but ultimately gets defeated 3will be that he in invades the upperworld but he gets defeated. worth noting orangutans arent as weak as this video makes them out to be. they probably arent as strong as gorillas but would easily take out a human. their muscles are tightly wound like a spring that gives them a slender look and helps with agility.

Like coming to Kong like he's some sort of pacifist trying to make the world a better place. Here's his dream, his plans, etc etc. And Kong is like, "Sounds great. I'll help you out". And things go out of hand before Kong finally realizes he gave Scar King something powerful that he shouldn't have. And Godzilla will be like, I heard the world needs fixing. Who do I kill?

Like the last movie, I don't think Scar King will be the main antagonist in this movie, I think he will be able to control a monster even more deadly, something that once again needs the combined strength of Godzilla & Kong to take down.

That didn't happen. Once again Kong delivers the killshot with an assist from Shimo.

I think 1998 could potentially survive for a long while, until Camazotz or the Kraken pulls up. Even the Skull Crawlers, most of which will be at most a nuisance, wouldn't be too much of a hassle for Zilla, though that being said, he'd probably stick more to the waters as a primarily fish-eating, water-swimming reptile with the ability to lay a lot of eggs. The babies probably won't be able to last long without each other, and even then, only a few at most may potentially be able to reach adulthood if they stuck to areas with less predator activities and hostile environmental factors. With their parents supervising them, however, their chances of surviving are increased significantly and they may even develop a potential taste for more land-based prey. As a consequence, their best chances of survival could ultimately be beneficial against something like Camazotz or the Kraken, should they become fully grown before fighting them as a pack. Overall, they have a chance, but including the concept of them having family greatly enhances their chances as a species than just on their own. Zilla Jr, however, could probably dominate the island, and prove at least a very painful thorn in the side of Camazotz and the Kraken all on his own. I don't know about winning, but I bet there's a relatively good chance he could beat them, courtesy of being presumably much tougher and more resourceful than the rest of his would-be kin and definitely superior to his father in abilities and power. What do you think?

LEAK DISCUSSION + POTENTIAL SPOILERS BELOW: The word around the internet is Scar King uses a whip made with Shimo's crystals, similar to how the Kongs used axes made with Gojira dorsal plates, to control Shimo. Initially, when the possibility of a second villain became a hot topic of discussion, my theory was that Scar King would use some form of mind control to "enslave" Shimo and force him to do his bidding, and that his eyes would glow blue (just like in the teaser) when he uses that ability. I much prefer this idea because that power would make Scar King a much more menacing villain, but KDM has said that he has no special powers, so that theory is pretty much debunked.

@@Arronic LEAK DISCUSSION + POTENTIAL SPOILERS BELOW DISCUSSION TOPIC: SCAR KING'S HISTORY AND POTENTIAL MOTIVES: Some potential leaks from a while back suggest that GxK won't be the first time Godzilla and Scar King have met, they do have some history with each other and they definitely aren't on good terms. Allegedly, wayyyy back in the ancient times, SK ruthlessly led a small army of other members of his species. He craved power and control, he wanted to rule the Hollow Earth and would do anything he needed to do to make that happen. This included enslaving lesser Titans/species and possibly even ordering his army to commit mass genocides against other HE species. Obviously, the Gojira were having none of it. So at some point, our very own Godzilla decided to go pay SK a little visit. I've heard a few different things regarding that visit and how it went down: 1. Godzilla pulled up and beat the dogshit out of SK in a brutal and utterly one-sided fight 2. Godzilla pulled up and defeated him in a fight where SK did have his moments and managed to get some hits in, but the fight was still a total mismatch and he was still beaten to a pulp by Godzilla 3. Godzilla pulled up and brutalized SK AND his entire posse Despite there being so many different claims, all of them have a few specific details in common: 1. SK definitively lost this fight and somehow was trapped in the HE as a result 2. There were no other Gojira involved in that particular fight, our Godzilla did this by himself 3. SK is PISSED over that fight and is actively seeking revenge against Godzilla for it If any of this turns out to be true, then there's no way he'd ever be able to control Godzilla. Honestly, my prediction is that we're actually going to see SK craft the whip at some point during the film after he gets freed. He didn't have it when Godzilla came and laid the smack down on him, and he's probably making the whip because he already knows that he's no match for Godzilla without it, and I wouldn't be surprised if he were to still doubt his ability to defeat Godzilla even with the whip and wants to control and weaponize Shimo himself to increase his chances against Godzilla even more.
