Shadowbeak can be captured on the same pal sanctuary as Astegon. It's quite a rare spawn and a pain to capture!

I named my male Shadowbeak "Korbin Nex Renatus" which is latin for "Raven Death Reborn."

As others have mentioned, you can add Siren of the Void which is a straight upgrade to Lord of the Underworld. However, one thing I haven't seen mentioned is breeding down Bellanoir (Libero)'s Dark Cannon active skill. This gives Shadowbeak a powerful low CT move to spam while waiting for Divine Disaster and Dark Laser (or Blizzard Spike when applicable) to recharge.

If you put Siren of the Void instead of Lord of U you could take down the dragon pals quickly with Blizzard Spike, like that you compense his weakness

This Birb is amazing. I have the same 4 passives as the one you used in the video except with Siren of the Void instead of Lord of the Underworld. I personally swapped Ferocious out for Swift since I wanted a little extra speed. Yes, I know Jetragon is the fastest flying mount in the game, but I still enjoy flying around with Shadowbeak.

I agree shadow beak is hands down one of your first pals to breed as soon as you can his utility as a combat pal is unmatched even if you are too low level for the saddle saddled with 4 stars perfect ivs and you won't need any other pal for caving or taking the fight to legendaries! My go to party now is jet dragon purely for speed shadowbeak two gobfins and a galeclaw until I got good leveled weapons I'd just run hoocratees instead of gobfins! Something I've just discovered is a mercy hit max level shadow beak just hoovers up multiple pals for capturing easily also if your riding shadow and don't have a mercy ring then shadows attacks can still kill pals so use that too your advantage however you want! EDIT: Also regarding mercy hit its useless on pals who inflict dot damage so fire dragon pals or acid rain can still kill those lucky pals by accident found that out with my mercy jormuntide ignis oops 😂😂😂😂😂

I made my Shadowbeak a long time ago when dark whisp was all the craze. Now I feel like I’m not that crazy about it for its accuracy and cool down time. Any suggestions? Also have been considering breeding one with serenity to help the cooldowns but unsure if that’s worth it. Just getting back into the game after a long break

level 2 gathering? totally useless. get your garbage pal out of my game. Honestly though, I'm scripting a breeding chain to power level a new account and shadowbeak is the last in a sequence of midgame prep. I'm slowly coming around to the idea of Wixen being a better pal till you can transition to Pyrin/Ragna, but from a raw stats perspective you cant beat the beak.
