I'm so happy that they didn't just make him half-assed, op sure, but it does him right. Shinsou is one of my favorite characters because he's one of those "I have an evil quirk that I'll use for good." I like to think the user makes the quirk itself evil.

I love playing as characters who are seen as weak in their show, or who don't have much great combat experience. People like Yamcha, Mineta, Konohamaru, etc. Now it's even better because I actually really love shinsos character.

I didn’t even know when was the new dlc pass coming. All I heard was the announcement, but i never saw any news of upcoming characters, much less about Shinzo. Now I am really hoping for Mirko.

I was playing against one and he found an infinite...after his command grab he can do his quirk and stun you for an unblockable...and he can do it again, and you can't escape it :/.

8:06 I'm loving the detail where the final move in Shinsou's Plus Ultra 2 is the kick Midoroya does on him during their joint training battle (albeit he doesn't pin his opponent to the ground)

I feel like shinso would still be a strong character even if his quirk tilt( I don't remeber if it was tilt)had a Long cooldown

Another set of characters that’d be neat as dlc are the Vigilante’s crew, their 2 big villains, and maybe oboro just because of how important/relevant he is for the anime rn

Just in the intro, but, "he's pretty good" is an understatement. Tilt quirk 1 ground slams. If you hold the brain wash, when the opponent pops out, they're already stunned. And, becuase they popped out of a slam, the combo is reset. It'll annoy the shit out of your opponent, but you win

Something I discovered today: If you use the quirk special that splats the enemy into the ground and use his PU2 when they're about to recover, you will always hit them with it. No assists necessary for that one. I've tried it at least 20 times now, and nobody's ever escaped it

Honestly I feel like most of the Class 1-B characters and Mei Hatsume should’ve just been characters in the main roster instead of DLC.

Ngl, happy for shinso, but i would love to see Redestro, High end nomu, shigaraki (awaken), any movie villain character, and miriko!! Hopefully i can get to see more villains at this season 2 dlc because at season 1 we only get to see gentle as the dlc villain

Hey Globku, Shinso can combo into his PU 2 and his quirk 2 he just got to do his tilt quirk 1 into it, it's quite easy when they get off of the ground splat they just get hit by them! I didn't read the comments so meh, if you already know it, it happens

Globku I faced a shinso online and one of the online players i fought kept losing because of them resetting there combo, by using the tilt quirk 1 to ground splat me i tried to escape but I keep getting caught by shinso persona code or plus ultra 2 when i recover from being splated on the ground and continued doing the same thing it's really hard to escape.

If you floor splat someone with shinso and do your plus ultra when they get up it activates

Happy to report that Shinso’s Brainwashing effecting you automatically on getup is not in the character’s final release. You can still call a sidekick on block, though, so it’s still really good XD

I hate playing against Shinso so much. 3 of his quirks are for wall splatting, and the other one stuns from doing anything other than walking and sometimes jumping, even just from getting up from the floor. Tetsutetsu used to be the broken character but at least he only became invincible after his Plus Ultra and the red move allowed you to combo him as you wait for invincibility to end or just run away.

I just got One's Justice 2 with the Shinso DLC after watching this video. Shinso was pretty easy to learn and I can get some good damage off with him. (I still suck a the game though lol)

What’s his non tilt quirk 2 in the air?

I don't usually buy dlc for games, but seriously Shinso players are driving me up the wall. I main Jiro and there doesn't seem to be a good way to take them on unless they get careless. Does anyone have any tips? Note that one of my support slots will be taken up by Ochaco because there is this particularly strong combo I figured out with her and now I'm very attached to the combo.

I think shinso would be much more true to the manga and be more balanced if his quirk was faster, could be used at any point and countered only assists, so if your opponent called for teammates it would stun them and the assist. Shinso could then combo without being interrupted if he predicted the opponent well. It would feel more like shinso tricking the opponent into asking for help, rather than just controlling anyone who says anything, which is obviously not how his quirk works.

Are you planning on making another tier list some time for the current state of the roster? I have recently gotten into the game and the resources for character guides and matches in general are usually really slim outside of when they were released, which is usually pretty outdated. I plan on playing Hawks, but almost all of the guides are a year old and I can't find any recent matches for him to kinda learn how he is suppose to be used optimally, tho the current guides have given me a decent idea of his playstyle. I just have no clue what his CURRENT strengths are that make people say "Why did X character get a buff?" when there are 0 resources out there that actually go into detail for some of these characters when I was under the assumption they weren't crazy good like when you made that Hawks video saying he definitely needed a buff (Doesn't help that past patch notes are very poorly documented as well from my experience).

Shinso literally has an infinite after his floor splat combo unless they call an assist to interrupt. Once they’re floor splat, you hold his brainwashing and it’ll always catch them on recovery before they hit you. I’ve seen shinsos kick be able to hit quick if you do it to him, but no other character seems to be able to do anything about this and it’s seriously busted
