Just a quick video talking about how skateboarding has become too political. Freely expressing yourself, cariuma skaters, fake people with bad intentions, and self love is the topic of todays rant

it's not skateboarding in and of itself, it's that there is something seeping into everything; nothing will be left intact. you can't expect a society to come under attack and expect all the subcultures contained within that society to go untouched. tbh, it's just narcissism: the narcissist doesn't take "no" for an answer, the narcissist forces themselves upon everyone, the narcissist guilts & shames the group. the problem isn't politics as much as America is a society of people who are weak-willed and bend over too easy.

If you wanna talk it's better to take care of your sound, maybe a better mic ? Also moving while talking is not helping... Skaters seem to be more and more hypocrites these days. Energy drinks, snake oil, bones for good luck you name it. They will advertise anything and that destroys their integrity and in the long run it compromises skateboarding. Also Cariuma sucks...

I usually have a mic im sorry! Upgraded my equipment and it stopped working I really don’t know why but also I hear you about what they do to survive. The cariuma thing I hear you but people are tryna just make their bag man.

@@unbidlight I hear you, everybody has bills to pay. But skating is first and most of all about expressing yourself, the fact that some people are making it a business is their problem and they should be in a constant check. Otherwise skating will become a toxic pit of energy drinks, positive vibes (that basically means not expressing any opinion) and crappy products that nobody needs. So to answer your question skating is way less political than it needs to be, IMHO

@@jjscale I meant it in the fact that everyone doesn’t see eye to eye, if you include yourself in a group you’re x’d out of opportunities without your knowledge, it’s all I the name of opportunity and making something of yourself but it’s not like the old days anymore. I know it cause I’ve seen it first hand so that’s all I meant. It does get political when you’re in the scene and it’s so disappointing to say and see. It hit me hard when it wasn’t just to randoms, but to people already in the “pro” realm. That’s the only reason I’m voicing this. No one really knows since they aren’t in that room with those people hearing how they actually feel not just for the face of their fans. I don’t have an image to hold that’s why I’m speaking my truth

@@unbidlight In generally these things need to be addressed from both ways in my opinion. Of course everyone has the right to pursue something for themselves and get any check they like. On the other hand when you get a check from and energy drink(just an example) you are either a fool or a hypocrite. And you need to be called out, to my eyes at least. About Cariuma I understand the company is a little lame but I am still not convinced that it is as dangerous for skating as advertising sugar and aspartame bloated carcinogenic energy drinks. Still Cariuma gets way more hate than energy drinks. In general though anybody that comes with their money and try to enter the "skate realm" should be checked... Sorry for the rumble.
