Hi Karl, my EA skills assessment expired in Jan 2021. But my partner still applied for EOI in June 2021 and claimed my points as skilled partner. We had no idea that we can get invitation with 85 points and hence I didn't renew my EA skills assessment as I am about to finish my IT degree and we were planning to go through IT degree qualification. But when she was filling EOI, the calculator still claimed my 5 points (in June 2018) for skilled partner. We wanted to double check, so we entered my expired PTE score and it didn't claim those points at that time but it did for my skills assessment. I have now my PTE score valid and all my partners scores valid (except my EA skills assessment). We had to file for 189 visa as we didn't had time to renew my skills assessment (since my passport renewal took time). We submitted our file as it is with all documents and recently I got my EA skills assessment renewed as Engineering Technologist (just to be on safer side). Now, will this affect 189 visa grant? I heard and checked that there is no expiry for partner's skills assessment and my partner being main applicant (who has all scores valid), will we get visa grant or refused (just because I didn't submit my renewed EA skills assessment)? Many Migration agents told me that if I was main applicant, then I need to have EA skills assessment valid but in my partner's case, it is not required (as EA mentions there is no expiry date). What do you think? Need your suggestion please

Hello, I took my skill assessment report from civil engineer professionals on 04/2021. In that time, I have 6+ years experience but I now have 8+ years experince. For this reasons, I wrote an e-mail how to add this new experince my current report. I took answer but when I opened my current report Civil Engineer Professional I couldn't see a button to apply additional assessment. What's more, I took skill assesement report from enginner technologist on 03/2023. I see additional assessment button for this application. Can you help me for issue? I have a Bachelors degree in Science(international). and I did a masters by research degree , chem related in Australia, and submitted my thesis on March 2022, but only got the completion letter on September 2022. I got a job (chemist) on april 2022, Q is, can I apply for skill assesment to claim one year experience in april(May) 2023? and get the points for experience and points for masters by resaerch degree?

Hi Karl, how about us, applied a RPL of Trade cert IV Commercial cookery and also given the diploma in Hospitality management. and been working 15 year in Hospitality abroad, and 5 years in Australia, Do we need to be assess if we are really competent in our skills. given that we are working in Senior management role and has proven tract record. Hello Karl, I am onshore and have two different engineering skill assessments for NSW 190 with both at 90 pts but no invitation yet, however, I have seen a lot of offshore candidate with lower points such as 80 pts and got the invitation, is this normal? Do they apply some filter to differentiate between onshore and offshore, and require more points with onshore candidate? A bit frustrated now, is it a good option to just go outside and become an offshore candidate to wait for invitation? Thanks!
