For your information it's not Kamal Hussein, correct name is Kamal Hassan and is a Brahmin. This is really dirty to bring religion into a creative field like cinema. Shows to what level our society has degraded. Reminds me of swamy Vivekananda's words " Kerala is a lunatic asylum ". I think Sri. Mohandas is bit confused about what actually happened. First of all Mr. Sharshad who brought this to the public attention (husband of the director of the movie in question i.e., PUZHU) is not a director. He said he had some connections in the film industry through which he facilitated his wife's (Ms.Ratheena) entry into Mollywood. He further says that the script written by her was put aside by Mammootty stating that the subject demanded a large canvas and since it was covid time , it may not be possible to shoot the movie. So he suggested another subject scripted by a PFI terrorist. When Mr. Sharshad came to know about the storyline of the new script he warned his wife not to proceed with the movie since it was unnecessarily demonising a particular community (brahmins). But she was adamant to go ahead with the project which eventually lead to their break up. He further accuses that it was Mammootty who arranged legal help for his wife for filing domestic violence case against him.

All religions must be criticised, especially dogmatic ones like Christianity and fanatical ones like Islam. Several evil practices have crept into Sanatan Dharma as well, which is not beyond criticism. The goodness of religion must be highlighted. A work of art can't destroy people's faith. In France the right to criticise a religion is a fundamental right. Don't try to Islamise Hinduism.

It is not a mere controversy..... there has been a grave apprehension that a mafia exists in Kerala Malayali cinema seeking to create an anti-Hindu bias. This apprehension is gathering more momentum with people in the industry coming forward with their personal experiences and naming artists who may be involved in it. This is a serious matter that should be investigated as it has socio-political implications and should kindly not be diluted, diminished, dismissed or whitewashed by respected social media-persons. 🙏

That's an impossible task at the moment. What you need to do is to uplift the downtrodden in the Hindu fold. So many Dalits convert because of social discrimination. If intercaste marriage is promoted, the inequalities in the Hindu parivar will disappear within two generations. You can't have the cake and eat it. You can't retain the caste hierarchy and dissuade the lower castes from leaving your fold.

Malayalam has probably the best actors among all Indian film industries. There is no dearth of talent. Even the young and upcoming stars are great acting talents. But Mammootty being a class act and a phenomenal actor who keeps reinventing himself continues to get work and stay revelant.

Muslim religious leaders who head these groups are always aware the of powerful influence of Indian and Western culture on their religion. It was one of the main reasons Mohd Ali Jinnah pushed for partition of India. The mullahs are continuously radicalising the muslin base to ensure their own power, position and influence are not eroded. They believe Ghazawa e Hind (Conquest of India) must be continued through all forms of jihad (love jihad, movie jihad, movie title jihad, song jihad, food (halal) jihad, business jihad, contract jihad, employment jihad........etc). What sells high in Kerala , cheap in the Kerala market, anywhere, is Hinduism. This is the same in Tamilnadu with a difference in the costliest religion in the market. Whereas its Islam in Kerala, the costliest in Tamilnadu is Christianity. Say something bad on Hinduism the Kerala and Tamilnadu market will accept it with happiness, none will raise their voice against , other than Hindus who dont market political secularism. If you whisper anything bad on Islam in Kerala or on christianity in Tamil Nadu, hell broke and you are in for big trouble. The politicians in these states have created such a market, none else, no individual in any of the religious faiths in particular, are responsible for it. The BJP is in the process of improving its strengths in these 2 states by taking a " Seeminly" neutral stand. Pure secularism is gone and its a marketing tool for the politicians.

TG Mohandas is Subramanya Swami of Kerala. Of course, he is unaware of ‘so called’ Mattancheri Mafia. Of course, he didn’t see the hinduphobic content in recent Mamooty movies including Bheeshma Parvam, Roscharak, Puzhu, Unda etc. Ofcourse he is oblivious to the fact that it’s Mamooty who introduced hard core Islamist into Malayalam Industry. It just reminded me that i was not aware of how films are used for propaganda in a very subtle ways, specifically in Tamilnadu in the initial dmk period and i think that formula is nowadays used to do religious propaganda and even after exposure it is openly clear that they do that in the film industry specific in Kerala and tamilnadu. Just today I realised what words where used by MGR in the famous "Alibabavum 40 Thirudargalum", if you see the film you may not be able to identify if the hero is actually a Muslims?! As he has moustache and no beard, no burkha, and the most damaging part is that famous magic words to open and close the thiefs mountain cave. "Andaa kaa Kasam, habuka hukum, thirandhidu / moodidi seasem". The dialogue is actually so critical of the Muslim faith actually, see the contrast in the same dialogue in the Hindi version "Khul Ja Sim Sim". You will know how subtle propaganda were made, otherwise these scripts need not be changed so drastically, actually. General public are not aware, but over the period of time, the Arabic Deen believers and the missionaries have made a clear target, like the education, business are all targeted specifically and deeply, we are foolish to think that it is naturally happening, but the actual villans know what they are doing as a community, only people who don't have such communities are not agenda based ones or those who are outside those circles, only don't know what is the actual agenda propaganda. Communist parties are the worst in this case. They are famously known as pancha Ma-kaars by the Jaipur Dialogues KZfaq channel Sanjay Dixit Ji, and it is a fact, unfortunately 😢. Mamooty should be either be away or an outsider to the actual agenda group or if he is in any way near, he simply cannot be trusted.

I do not know much about these actors, but what I noticed in one of famous film star daughter’s marriage, PM is greeting everyone with folded hands 🙏 (Namaskaram) and as he approaches the 2 actors you are talking, one responds gracefully and other one is stands with hands tied near his waist …, I fail to understand the mindset of such like Indians as to why they bring in religious practices at all levels of their behaviour. In that they should not stay with other religions practices at all. Such like behaviour brings in disharmony in the society. They have no respect for the post-position of PM and of course the person responsible for that JOB; they have only have…. Interest.

Dear Sree Iyer, Sorry to say this episode is a total waste of your valuable time and the viewers valuable time. He has not the seen the movie and therefore he is in no way capable of throwing light on what exactly is the issue. He does a lot of whitewashing and also some balancing by bringing Mohanlal into this discussion, which was absolutely unnecessary. This interview does not give you the correct answers. If you have the time, please watch the film and you will understand what the issue actually is! .

I remember an old movie murappennu, the only noble character was Muslim acted by nellikode Bhaskaran.. The issue is the propaganda these people are trying to promote through their movies. In one of the film an Actor Saubin Shahir claims that Mammooty does all kinds of movie characters and Mohanlal does only upper cast roles which is not true as Mamootty has done the famous Iyer character almost 5 times in succession and also acted any other upper caste characters and likewise Mohanlal has acted as different types of characters so promoting these kinds of messages is wrong.

I think TG is wrong in his opinion. Mohanlal played characters glorifying Hindu culture and religion but never downplayed or insulted others. Mattancherry mafia with the help of outside sources produced movies that insulted Hindu culture and Christian religion. Their intention of making movies was that of spreading hatred, mainly targeting the upper caste Hindus. Mammooty was part of these movies and it’s difficult to believe that he played these characters without knowing the context. Moreover, this mafia also indulged in heavy PR work to tarnish Mohanlal movies in the social media. Mammooty should come out in public and give an explanation on the entire situation. Unless and until he does that, he’ll remain in the shadows of suspicion.

He has said that his favourite characters are from MT scripts, Chandu, Ravi Shankar (Sukrutham) etc. what evidence have you to disbelieve him? You are toxic. You simply want to malign him because he is a Muslim. Every Malayali, Hindu, Muslim and Christian, loves 'Sethumadhavan' in Kireedam played by Mohan Lal. At every critical juncture he stands with Jihadis, Communists and other anti-national forces. He denigrades hindu outfits and the BJP. I am a regular viewer of TG Sir’s talks and discussions in Malayalam and amazed by his knowledge and analyses. But unfortunately here, his narration of the particular new movie situation (discussed here)is misleading because its theme is clearly anti Hindu (by showing a high class Hindu in an clearly regressive theme) and not about any other faith. I have watched the mentioned interview of the businessman (his wife is the director of the movie discussed). But it came after the same excellent star actor acting in another movie with normalizing an extreme view. Also, TG mentioned both are directors but the movie director is female, and her husband is not in art field, he is into business. I do not disagree much with the other background history of old movies discussed and about the contributions, acting abilities of various star actors (Kerala is extremely rich in actors other than these stars too). Anyways, this discussion will certainly help to whitewash many bad regressive trends happening in Malayalam movie industry in the past 2 decades, where the clear (sometimes it’s hidden) agenda of anti Hindu narrative is visible to most movie goers in the past 10-15 years with the inclusion of many new producers. And this newest topic is just an extension of that. I am surely surprised and shocked to see a person like TG Sir who is so strong in views, valid points in Malayalam discussions here being softer, “unaware” of many aspects with too many misleading points! 21:00 - those who watched this star’s (who is known as one of the most extremely smart, shrewd artists in selecting every character and plot for his movies - this was also detailed in that interview) earlier movies don’t think this is the first time he has acted or worked with people with extreme ideologies. One thing is crystal clear in this talk - TG Sir is a diehard fan of this star who wants to uphold the star’s “reputation” or he doesn’t know many aspects, either way this is an extremely sad, disappointing talk!

Mohammad kutty urf mamooty Is not secular , he may be popular, but it was because all Hindus and Christians watched his movies including ME!!!! But on the other hand, they want to dominate all aspects of the film, promoting pro-Islamist characters and making anti-national and anti-Hindu themes and dialogues in all movies.
