People who scoff at Tamamo, yet praise Vitch for her skill cooldown reduction and buster buffs don't deserve either. The fact that it is tied to Tamamo's NP in an arts setup is essential! Tamamo should be appreciated more. Long live the fluffy tail!

Tamamo is still my most valuable Arts caster since I failed to get Castoria. She may not have batteries, but she makes my Arts servants into gods on the battlefield in absence of Castoria.

50% CE on DPS + Tamamo + Paracelsus + support Castoria can loop a lot of stuff, you just need Plug. Makes up for not having your own Castoria.

Hot take (maybe?): Castoria actually made Tama better, by giving her a clearly defined role, one that she's very good at. Before Tama was kind of wonky as primary Arts support because she lacked the battery. Now Castoria is the perfect primary Arts support, and Tama is an excellent secondary support because she provides everything Castoria doesn't. She's not in competition against Castoria, they're meant to work together. Tama is really good if only for being a strong plug-in damage boost, and for sustained battles I find that Arts DPS/Castoria/Tama generally runs more smoothly than double Castoria. My one gripe is that her Skill 2 feels very outdated, a selfish Defense buff doesn't really synergize with the rest of her kit. Even a small 10% party battery would make it infinitely better.

I use her in a “NP denial” team with Waiver as a secondary support and then either berserker Vlad, Kiara,Qin Shi Haung, or Yang Guifei as the damage dealer. If done correctly you completely take away the enemy’s ability to NP while also giving yourself fairly decent sustain

The sheer amount of mat hell that is Tamamo is the reason I barely deploy her. It's far easier for me to go with a DPS/Waver/Castoria combo. At the very least, Tamamo is not going to be used as Chen Gong's ammunition.

I currently have her level 120 NP2. I’m saving till April when she gets another banner and will have 1000+ SQ ready for NP5. She’s still very good for np damage up if your servants are only NP1. Shes always been more of a stall servant from the start and will be stuck in that phase I feel like. She’s still my og for the past 5 years now

Tamamo is my first ssr Arts support and I'm still using her for like 2 years now.and Tbh she is really good but I think she need atleast a little buff like giving your team a 20% np charge. But overall she still good tho.

Tamamo + castoria/miyu + kiara/moon cancer kiara Are my top team for CQ Even with both kiara's at np1, is so much broken sh** with low CD that everything turns into a joke Sometimes a 35turns joke (*looking at kama at end of ooku*), but a joke

I’m really torn over her with the free SSR ticket coming up. On one hand she can probably really help my level 100 Muramasa be more consistent but on the other hand I really want Karna due to not having a AOE lancer. Maybe it’ll change depending on how my Morgan rolls go.

I remember thinking of this as a modern buff for Tamamo. Second skill buff (make the 3 turn defense buff team wide and add a 10-20% team battery.

Tamamo is still great. She reduces party cd, provides heal, reduces enemy's np bar. She does what Castoria doesn't and makes hard battles easier.

Arts characters really hate me, so i ended up with a bunch of Quick/Buster servants, but if i had strong farmers/ST arts servants, Tamamo would definitely be my pick on this years 5 star ticket. But since arts hates me, i'm going with waver. BUUUT i really love her. I played with her in the Fate Extra PSP games and i used her a lot in extella and extella link

I use Tamamo, Castoria and Scheherazade when going against Assassins, Berserkers or some Extra classes. I put Berserker Musashi when going against pretty much anything else except Foreigners. If I stick a Support Castoria or Tamamo as well, it's like opening the floodgates.

Yes. She's good in slow play contexts, she functions as a substitute to Castoria when pair with Paraclesus and a 50% Charge CE + Plugsuit and Support Castoria, and she can easily be gotten off a *5 Star Ticket if one doesn't need a Waver or another favorite off it. You really can't go wrong with her, even if she's been marginalized by powercrept and the devs cowardice in giving her more buffs.

Tamamo literally just clinched the Challenge Quest for me here on NA after I got my Shirou killed and suddenly the supports became the damage dealers. How did I get my Shirou killed? RNG. It had nothing to do with the Black Grail sapping him to death... probably. Double Castoria Tamamo: the true Arts mastery team.

I use Tamamo with Castoria and Astraea. Add two 2030 CEs and behold the carnage. You don't need the second Castoria for Astraea if you unlock mana loading and use the summer mystic code.

tamamo is crazy good i actually got her as a golden spook i dont even remember for who just remember it was during a summer event maybe ruler martha or summer artoria, the stronger the skills in your team are the stronger her np becomes, the only thing i would buff would be fox wedding that should heal her and a target servant since a wedding needs 2 persons or give arts buff to both of them

Funny you say that but she was actually my second SSR and even to this day i'm still falling back to using tamamo no mae because 1 yes furry waifu, but 2 and most importantly if raised properly, her kit is by far the most overpowered for when the game first came out, yes we have better casters now a days but even with that a factor i still at times find myself using her for alot of different fights case in point when you actually fight Ashiya Douman in Heian Kyou, she, chloe and castoria all came in clutch when i needed them most combining ALL that i managed to beat douman within time before the year ended which i'm quite pleased by ^^

only reason i don't run Tammy more is because all my heavy hitters are ether Buster, or Quick. I don't really have a good Arts beat stick to really justify bringing her to things, even though she is pretty damn good

I've used her mostly for challenge quests, where her sustain helps a lot. Having a party of her, Merlin, and Mash (OG) is basically unkillable (except they don't do much damage lol).

I'm thinking about picking her up on the SSR ticket this year But i have a question, I'm using muramasa + double castoria + 2004 for most of my farms Double castoria + plug suit + Tamamo does a better job?

Depends, the only thing Tama will bring to a farming situation is a huge boost in damage. That will help if Muramasa is struggling to reach damage checks on event nodes, but otherwise you're better off with plug-less setups for your everyday farming. Her selling point is more for boss/CQ fights. Team her up with Castoria and your preferred Arts DPS (eg. Muramasa), and you get a very sustainable team that can spam their NPs for days.

@@ultramarsfinest1536 I'm not using QSH so I'm not too sure, but on paper I don't see him having that much synergy with Tama. Mostly because he has a non-damaging NP, so Tama's 30% NP damage buff does nothing for him, and even her 50% Arts buff only applies to his two Arts facecards. She'd lose most of her damage boost role, but I guess she can still help with sustain (if he ever needs it) with her NP providing battery, some healing and cooldown reduction so he can spam his skills and NP more. But again I don't have him, and I rarely use Servants with non-damaging NPs aside from Himiko so I'm not really a reference here.

Yes, and if you are a lover of overkilling to the point a sneeze can give you full NP bar, put her alongside two other Castorias and watch people refund with an extra 50% arts buff and 20% NP damage buff.

In my opinion and through sheer luck I have two np 5 and now my goal is to get all my current existing servant to np 5 and roll for support. Just having someone at a high np level can make content so much easier.
