Awesome. Also, sun isn't the hottest star in the universe, there are ones way hotter, up to 50,000 degrees Celsius just on the surface. Either way, a drop of the sun would wipe out a whole country. Drop of sun falls on the United States for example and there goes the United States. Large parts would be burned by the heat, but doesn't burn would fall into pure chaos. Edit. This movie, plus Moana were the best movies Disney released in a long time, with Moana being the last good Disney movie. Sure Frozen and Frozen 2 were ok at best, for me there hasn't been a really awesome movie from Disney in a long time. Pixar was more meh and mediocre at best. Dreamworks with Puss and Boots? Near perfection.

Whenever Mother Gothel shows Rapunzel any affection, she's actually showing it to her hair. In contrast, when Eugene does the same, he pushes her hair away from her face.

In the original fairy tale, Rapunzel did heal the Prince (I don't think he had a name) with her tears, after he was blinded by thorns. The film writers took that idea and came up with the magic hair power.

Apart from the cgi, this feels like it's from the Disney Renaissance. In other words, amazing. Rapunzel and Eugine form such a strong romantic connection, maybe the strongest in any Disney film. You can feel so much true love between them. Both Pascal and Maximus are hilarious, (but especially Maximus,) and even though the king and queen never speak a word, the anators telegraph their dialogue perfectly. You know exactly what their saying and how they feel.

Definitely helps that Glenn Keane (animated Ariel, Beast, Tarzan, Pocahontas) helped lead this project to give it the Renaissance feel, especially since it was in production for 6 years and had several redos.

I agree. Eugine and Rapunzel have some great chemistry, only really rivaled in my mind by Prince Navine and Tiana from Princess and the Frog, and maybe Anna and Kristoff from Frozen, but that is a hard maybe. I like the direction that Disney has been taking in more recent movies, with more realistic relationship standards instead of early 'love at first sight' type romance.

Just a small nitpick, but this is CG, not CGI. CGI is a term for visual effects made for a live action movie. CG is a fully animated 3D project

The kingdom dance song is my favorite Disney song. It’s rare that Disney actually dives into correct era songs and they give us GREAT musicals…but hearing a medieval folk song to Rapunzel and Eugene falling for each other will always bring a genuine smile to my face.

The explanation for why rapunzels hair is so perfect all the time is because her hair is a literal entity portraying itself in her as hair. So that’s why her hair stays perfect,

Flynn Wilder is the biggest modern Disney Icon. He's the definition of a fan favorite. Seriously, almost every single line he says is hilarious and makes me love him more than ALL the characters in Frozen combined. Also can you watch Rio and About Time, they are really awesome movies.

The "years and years if asking" is basically the timeline of Tangled: the series :D (Sorry for the whole explanation here, I'm a nerd for this show) In the mini movie that starts the show(I don't remember if this takes place 5 or 8 months after the movie), he asks her to marry him and she says she's not ready. Then in the 2dn season (like 6 months after s1) he asks her again but she's still not ready. At s3 she was the one who was going to ask him but he almost dies so... bad moment? And then at the end they finally get the "happily ever after" which is almost 3 years after the movie :'3

Tangled is a really good movie! The songs are catchy, great animation, and seeing the usual villains be good and just have their own dreams was something I enjoyed a lot. The "I See The Light" sequence is still beautiful. Best part about this film is Zachary Levi as Eugene. I enjoyed his character the most. So funny and gives the best lines. Also, it blows my mind that the budget for this was $260 million, but really, this movie has a long development process.

That thing Maximus horse thing vs. Eugene human rival and friend at the end ... make me adore him ...He is like Tornado !! My only one hero horse...Part incredibly brilliant , in the script of the story.❤❤😂

In my opinion this is a amazing movie from the 2010's. I remember watching this in the theater. Movie came in the year 2010. I remember watching it in theaters. I am pleased with it's animation, character arch and storyline.

I love everything about this movie from the scenery,to the music and to the amazing characters and perfect villain what’s not to like about Tangled my favourite scene is the lantern scene because it’s so romantic and Eugene is probably the hottest Disney guy ever 😍😍😍 and Rapunzel is so badass and her arc was amazing too😊thank you so much for reacting to this masterpiece and can’t what you do next 😁😉😉😄😄

Ok but if someone wants more lore and adventures with this world and characters, I recommend the show 100% -It has songs that in my opinion are even better than the ones in the movie -it has really good world building -it has more relatable characters (I love you baby Varian boi) -a good plotline -AND IT'S CANON Also, Eugene's actual name (the one his parents gived him) is Eurace which is EVEN WORSE than Eugene xD

I’m surprised that the wound on Eugene’s hand (where he scraped it against the stone) didn’t come back after her cut Rapunzel’s hair. Think about it, when Mother Gothel cut a little of Rapunzel’s hair she started to turn old again and when Eugene cut all of Rapunzel’s hair Gothel’s age quickly caught up to her and she turned into dust… so why didn’t Eugene’s hand get wounded again?

Well, you’re not wrong about Mother Gothel. There’s a good reason the old man at the bar called her “a tall drink of water.” Just because she’s evil, that doesn’t mean she’s not a MILF. 😏 But “not so bad”?! She’s compared to Frollo as one of Disney’s most despicable villains!

I was also wondering how the king and queen were any better than Mother Gothel for using the magic flower on just one person. I guess the song isn’t known by anyone other than Gothel so they wouldn’t know how to share the flower’s healing magic enough for other people to use. They didn’t have time to figure it out, either, because the queen was close to dying.

So the question is: Is it just her tears that heals? I mean ... what other kinds of ... erm ... bodily fluids react that way? Does it work if she drools on someone? And if it IS just tears, is it just sad tears that heal? Because different emotions produce different kinds of tears (chemically speaking).

In the original fairy tale the prince falls into a bramble of thorns and is blinded, but Rapunzel’s tears heal his eyes. So it’s more of a reference to the original story. It could also just be the last of the magic and her hair was some kind of magical conductor for the healing???

@@cmrobbins88In general, I heard the suggestion that Rapunzel herself is like a flower. That is, the petals of a flower (Rapunzel's hair) are the brightest and most obvious manifestation of the flower's magic, but all its power is in the stem of the flower (in Rapunzel's body)

If you're relating Phillip to a Disney horse Philip is the prince from sleeping beauty and he had a horse I forget if it even had a name but he was speaking to it at one point and he heard the princess singing in the woods and wanted to go check it out and the horse was like nope and he was like she was like even if I give you a few carrots and the horse started running that way and didn't realize the prince got knocked off by a low hanging branch into some water then when he went back for the prince the prince was like no carrots

Ok so you know the scene from Frozen where Hans tells Anna "if only there was someone out there who loved you" Someone did that to this movie with the family reunion scene at the end. It's the scene where the queen touches Rapunzel's cheek played in reverse with the subtitle saying "you're not my daughter"
