Tarkov Arena is finally out, but is Tarkov Arena worth it? I go over that here with Escape from Tarkov Arena Gameplay. Let's jump into a Tarkov Arena Review. I've recently been playing a lot of Tarkov Arena and thought it was time to do a little video about the good and potential opportunities for the game. Overall, it's an interesting new-ish title from Battlestate Games. It's a great addition to the Escape from Tarkov library.

ranked games should be limited to the "Rating" classes

Agreed 100%. I've heard that that's the plan when they open everything up and I really hope so. Some sort of standardization on the kits would take a lot of the current issues out of the ranked system as long as the matchmaking is solid. Appreciate you taking the time to comment!

I'm back!! It really is invaluable for getting better at PvP. Low consequences and you can work on a lot of different stuff. Find your play style when it comes to PvP. I'll definitely start sketching one out to see if I can get some good bones around it. Biggest one is point firing (or hip firing, whatever you'd like to call it). Getting good at that changes PvP instantly. Hope you're having a great New Year! Really appreciate you taking the time to comment.

I absolutely loved it with all the early rat kits, but i took two days off and the next time i played the disparity in kits at the same rank level was so brutal I stopped playing until they get some serious balance in their matchmaking.

Ah completely agree. Early on was so much fun. Like early wipe is always the best when the fights feel like that. It was A LOT better after did a balance update. It's more based on what level kit you've been buying which helped a ton. So, if you've been buying a level 3 kit you're going to be around your own kit. (unless you're playing with high level friends then you're just out of luck) Hoping they keep honing it because that would really make this game incredible. Appreciate you taking the time to comment!

ranked with 4 free rating kits for each rank (that are not shit like the current ones tho) unranked with the current buyable presets we have

We're speaking the same language here. Absolutely agree. I've heard that's what it supposed to be once they open everything up and I hope that's where they land. Also, I'm hopeful they'll switch around the buy phase. Tough that you can't really level another tree because you'll just be in your current lobbies with T ammo or something. Think that would be a great way to make unranked fun. Appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts!

@@SoopChefTV you can level another tree, now they’ve added the mm aspect based on your previous game preset. Most people will want to play ranked so I think limiting to just the rating 4 kits seems a bit of a waste from that preset tree. I’d like to see when you queue into ranked you have a choice of which tier presets you want to use, like 1 &2 together 3&4 and so on. Wouldn’t have a huge mismatch that way and can still use presets from the trees? Been really enjoying it so far just got passed 200 games 👀

@@scottthomas5356 Yeah I could see that. The presets level by your ARP so it would open up 4 new kits each rank which is 1000 ARP I believe. (At least that's how it shows in the UI) Just think it would be helpful for standard purposes. The groupings you mentioned would definitely work. Oh man I'm having a blast. At about 120 myself. Tried to level a different tree last night and it is not fun trying to take down tier 4 and 5 kits with the tier 1 stuff. Hopefully they open up unranked here soon so I can keep trying out new stuff. Appreciate ya takin the time to comment! Could talk about Arena all day.

Agreed. Don't really have much of a problem hearing them and even if you do, something like a VOG25 doesn't really have enough time to get away even if you do hear it. Think I more so think that once everyone really learns the nade spots or you play a team that coordinates them the nade spam could get pretty frustrating. Most comp games have some sort of counter and there really isn't one here. Could end up not being a problem, but I'm a little wary.

Yeah I've checked it out before. Never got to play it. Crazy seeing some of the buildings in the current game all these years later.

Hm that’s interesting. I haven’t anyone have that take before. Curious what you think are the bad parts of Tarkov that are in Arena? Genuinely trying to learn. Most people I’ve talked to enjoy it or at least don’t have much of a problem with it. Is it PvP?
