Күн бұрынThe Corvette has been America's true sports car ever since 1953 and Chevrolet created something extra special with the ZR1. Under the shaker style hood is a 6.2L V8 that produces 755HP & can be mated to a 7-speed manual or 8-speed automatic transmission. On the outside the Corvette ZR1 receives a host over special aero treatments including a unique front fascia. On the inside you will get a high level of materials including leather and Alcantara. Is the 2019 C7 ZR1 the BEST Corvette ever BUILT?

The C6 used be my favorite generation of corvettes but the C7 took the number 1 spot for me. Absolutely love this car!

Yeah, and the gearing in the M7 is good and tight once you get rolling! Not the big 4-5 drop like in the A8s.

The blue flames you mentioned are due to unburned fuel in the exhaust as a result of letting off the throttle while accelerating. This occurs since since the catalytic converter is very hot and as that unburned fuel passes through it, it ignites and results in the blue flames you mentioned. It does look cool though.

@@dwade3202 Unfortunately, the 2019 ZR1 was never sold in Europe because the engine is so massive that it bulges out of the hood, and that does not meet European pedestrian safety standards in the event the car hits someone, thus Chevrolet couldn’t sell it there. Although the manual is really cool, driving a 755hp rear-wheel-drive sports car with a manual would feel like a death trap because the car is so fast, you wouldn’t be able to drive it at or near its limit having to continually shift it.

@@BarikSingh The engine itself doesn't protrude through the hood. The carbon fiber engine cover you see which does protrude is just that, a cover for the supercharger. When you remove it (four bolts) you expose the top of the supercharger which is flat and is about three inches below the hood.

I own a C7 ZR1 ZTK convertible. I feel the same excitement you had every time I drive it as well. It’s just amazing! With the top down and catless mid pipes, the exhaust sound Is like nothing else!!!!!

Love my 2019 ZR1! Had it almost three years now. It is amazing to see people still excited about it even now! Wife picked up a Hellcat Redeye because she was tired of not being about to keep up with it when we took road trips. It is an amazing car, for sure.

I bougt a manual C7 Z51 3LT in Germany half a year ago, the ZR1s are literally 3x the price of a Stingray over here, it's crazy. But boy is that thing I-N-S-A-N-E, a good motivation to keep going! Thanks Raiti for your continuous presentation of those cars, absolutely amazing!

The amount of headroom these have is insane! As if they’re not fast enough stock, they take well to mods and can make close to 1000whp without anything crazy. 🚀🏎

A great point is the 19’ ZR1 is selling right now for almost MSRP while used. I think part of it is the C8 Z06 and the ZR1 are so far off. And it is the only ZR1 made that’s a one year only ZR1. Definitely a future collector car.

I love your videos.....as an American kid growing up you capture all of our dreams in your enthusiasm....I can't wait until I accomplish my dreams of driving my own ZR1. I have a c6 Z06 time to upgrade....once I can find one....the price skyrocketed after the pandemic....we make over $200k a year and now it's time to enjoy the money going into my 50s have owned a Corvette since I was 25....had to edit thanks Lori....?and yes you can only upgrade a Corvette with another Corvette

First ZR1 was made from 1969-1971, there was a lot more than a handful but they were a limited production each year.

The C7 ZR1 is such a great buy. The price on it just doesn't go down. My C8 is at the dealer. Taking delivery Tuesday. Super excited. Wouldn't mind a C7 ZR1 someday.

You can hear the supercharger whine but you have to listen really closely. The overpowered V8 with that exhaust over power the supercharger sound. Such an amazing car. If I win the lotto that’s my first purchase.

There seems to be an almost universal consensus about the ZR1:🤔whether or not you personally like the ZR1,it is indeed the "ultimate Corvette," the most powerful track weapon in Chevrolet's arsenal, with enough horsepower to pose a serious performance threat to the Dodge Demon and to put multimillion dollar Supercars and foreign exotics on notice. It is likely the closest to you owning a C7.R--and,in all likelihood, you could easily overcome that venerable race champion. 💪😉

I like the analogue Gauges they are more accurate than a digital read out. Because the car picks up speed so quickly and digital numbers just skip up
