Gorgeous color. Someone in my neighborhood recently acquired one. One of the most beautiful candy apple reds I've ever seen. However, being hand-built doesn't mean anything since the drivetrain and engine is exactly the same.

Perfect send off model, low NSX sales, low PMC factory activity, decent sales opportunity. This totally makes sense as an offer in the marketplace. Hope it works out. Would be great to see a PMC type S in a year or two. 🙂

Honestly from where and when I come from, there is nothing sporty about a sedan! Bring back the Coupe! My 2010 V6 Accord coupe with HFP body kit is 10 years old, looks sportier, sounds better and would at least keep up if not pass this $50k heavier Sedan. Imagine a 2021 styled 8th Gen HFP coupe with (proper grill), 3.5L Turbo and all wheel drive! A hands down best seller IMO. Bottom line is we have less choice now than ever before, while paying ridiculous amounts of $ for something that is quicker then a lawn mower, and does not look like a balloon 🎈 animal! ...it’s sad... good video by the way!

If you had to pick between this and the CT4-V (AWD), which would it be?

I like the exterior very much. Interior is cool. I want a fun reliable daily sport sedan with decent fuel economy. Looking to buy 2018 tlx aspec or 2015 lexus gs350. I have rc350 f sport already. 2018 Tlx aspec is close to $29k. Have to wait till next year.

Wow. This car is fantastic.

I like the fact that it has a CD player, so I can crank Steel Panther on disc. Maybe drop a 10-CD changer in the trunk well to spin the entire catalog while on road trips.

One thing I'm definitely sure about, the pmc TLXs resale value will shoot through the roof in a few years time

This is a really nice car. Flat steerings are silly and were for race cars only; now when they are not included they seem odd :) . So this normally aspirated high revving engine producing a shade under 300 HP with 4WD is great. This car is completely refined and attractive to the point where I would choose this over a BMW which builds beautifully designed cars. One thing I can tell you is, the two are totally different when it comes to reliability, and to ensure there is no mistake, Hondas mirror the reliability of Toyotas. However, I'm a turbocharged person, so I will wait of the 2nd year version of the new car as its never good to buy the first run of any vehicle to give them a chance to iron out the bugs.

You finally got the black roof Joe.. I hate when they put all the emblems on the side of the car I think it's so tacky especially here the car is red and black. Chrome emblem on the front fender.

What also drives the price up is that it rolls in both the A-Spec and the Advance packages. No other A-Spec can be so equipped. This is really a class category that is not selling in America TLX/ cadenza/Azera/maxima/Avalon

I used to have an 2006 Acura TL and I can see Acura has stuck to its roots with this car unfortunately they are going away from vtec and going towards turbos but styling is spot on with the original TL.

Car has Aged well but it is time for the new one for sure. The interior obviously has aged less well but there are things on it that I prefer over the new one. I do not like push button shifters, and I owned a TLX Elite for 4 years. It was leased and returned months ago. I had two cars with the dual screen setup, and now a car with the stupid tablet design and for me the dual screen setup is far superior, it just needed a better operating system and more power in it so it wasn't so laggy. The Screens weren't the problem, the interface was. I'm not a fan of alacantara and it will not age well. Sadly the new one has a push button shifter in the FREAKING DASH like a CRV!?!?!? and still has alacantara on the seats. The main problem with the 2015-2020 TLX is the 9 Speed Transmission, it was laggy and slow down low, and unreliable. The V6 is a refreshment over the turbo 4 bangers ruining the world. As a highway cruiser, getting well over 30mpg was very easy, and it's so quiet and comfortable. This car is not a "sports" sedan but somewhere in the middle of sports and Luxury and far better than the Accord touring I replaced it with. Sadly Acura's service is sub par and needs a lot of work. Currently waiting with money in bank for a Type S if it's priced ok and spec'd right. SHAWD is incredible, and so is that paint, but good luck getting that paint repaired.

I think waiting for 2021 is worth it cause it has new and a bit more features

I like the car........The paint is great but even without it the TLX ASpec is a good looking car in any color. It looks better than a BMW 3 series IMO. I think people like lemmings have jumped on the whole dual screen infotainment in this car and the MDX and won’t let it go. Said it before but I will be sad to see it go. I think all the system needed was some better screens with higher resolution and updated software that’s it. Trying to shove all functions on one screen is far to distracting IMO. Basically this is an ASpec TLX with some features of the Advance package TLX and of course the paint job. If you can pick one of these up for $50,000 or less and I think Acura is offering 0% financing like some other auto makers are now this is a good car to purchase. As I’ve also said before, I prefer an naturally aspirated engine and I’m sure there are others who feel the same. If you feel this way, the TLX May be one of the last sporty/performance cars without a turbo so you may want to hop on this one.

Hey Joe, I have an Audi A6 3.0t prestige w/ an APR stage 1 tune and would love to see a review of that year A6. It's been a great car for me.

You need over 300 hp to sell for that price. A camry even has 306 ponies.

There's a whole lot to like about that car...paint, performance and interior design but that (lack of) exhaust note is terrible! What were they thinking?

The paint/color is magnificent, but they didn't bump up the power or anything, so for me my eyes are on the 2021 Type-S. I'm fearful the Type-S will be such a beast I'll have to go against my plan to not buy anymore new cars for a longtime once I pay my off Touareg next December so...smh. Lol.
