Here is the 2022 Honda Civic Si and I think it is the best Civic Si Honda has ever made. Filled with new features, handling from the Civic Type R, top tech with a 1.5 TurboCharged Engine, 6 speed manual transmission and so much more. Watch as I reveal many tips and tricks in this new review video, along with a few gust appearances to showcase some new features.

I love all the blacked out chrome. I own a 1986 Prelude 2.0Si, one of the first Si's ever (along with Integra) and one of the biggest exterior differences over the base model prelude was almost all of the chrome including around the windows was blacked out! Great to see this trait still alive in the Si models today.

I think it'll be a good car, but not without some glaring issues. First, although I think the power level is adequate, most enthusiasts who get this car will use Hondata Flashpro or K-Tuner to free a few more horses from the stable. Second, I think it's borderline criminal that American Honda has the gall to de-content some extremely desirable features for US-spec cars, yet our Canadian friends get do enjoy them (yes, I'm jealous of our neighbors to the north). And last, although not necessarily Honda's fault, dealers will be fleecing the ever-loving snot out of anyone who considers this.

2:45 Great video. This is a beautiful car. No offense or anything, but a "true dual" exhaust can only be had on a V6 or V8 engine. True Dual means there is one separate, independent exhaust pipe for each side bank of cylinders on the engine. In this case, there is only one pipe coming off the Inline 4 cylinder engine going to the back, then it's separated into two.

Silly question... would you happen to know (or can find out) if the spots for the omitted Fog Lights from US version has the wiring in place already for OEM Fog Lights? I am only aware of the 2022 Civic Touring model having the fog lights... Here in SoCal they do come in handy as I commute near the ocean and it does get socked in sometimes on Highway. If not, I would definitely get them added...Now it's just a waiting game for the SoCal dealers to come back to reality instead of marking up anywhere from $5K to $10K over MSRP...

The high revving engines were fun for a while but the lack of torque got tiring after a while. The interiors were lackluster and the exteriors always a mixed bag. After driving the integra type r, all civics felt mushy in cornering. I can tell you without a doubt that 11th gen is much better in every category. It’s absolutely planted in cornering. Better shifter, much better exterior and interior design, and it’s not less powerful. Hondata dyno says 222 hp, 232 torque!

@@FATmenDRIVEtrucks but 3rd gen 1.5 cant handle 400whp reliably in a stock motor. This isn’t new every time a car comes out the badgers appear. 400whp and still getting 30+mpg.

On such a car why are there no parking sensors? Bizarre. Also, the individual mode should allow you to adjust the dampers so you can have sport mode for the engine and dial back the dampers on a rough road. I'm guessing the dampers are passive?

Original Si's were always hatchbacks initially (EA, EF). and Honda should have kept it that way !

100%agree even on this one it would’ve been absolutely amazing had they flipped the script and made the type r a sedan for the 11th gen and the Si in the hatchback version that way also the 10th gen wouldve been hatch and the 11th sedan come on HONDA!!!!! Be back to the old days!!!!!!!!! The new integra is gonna be a flop unless they super hype up the Type S version of it then again its completely limited by the next level up the tlx type s which will also limit what they can do with it SIGHS better just save up and build an older lightweight Honda 😅😅😅😅😅💀✊🏻🚨😪

I like how Honda makes such a big deal out of the power chart and how they tuned the engine to be "better." What it really says is they're trying to make up for the poor top-end performance by flattening the curve at the top and giving you less so you don't notice it as much. ...and oh by the way, here, we added no extra torque a little sooner so you can bounce the rev limiter in first gear more often because it's waaaaay to short to be used at full power.

I heard that the engine has been underrated and hat it’s actually pulling closer to 220 HP compared to Hondata. I think the Si has always had shorter gearing compared to others in its class. I know when I got my GTI and my parents drove BMW, that I from a rolling start I’d use first gear quite a but. In the Si it was always second as long as the car moved at all. I preferred the short gearing , it was just more fun I thought.
