The Silverado ZR2 Bison is all new from Chevrolet. Under the hood is a 6.eL V8 pumping out 420HP & mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission. On the inside there a 13in infotainment screen, 12in digital gauge cluster and two-tone seating. On the outside you will find 33in off-road tires, 18in wheels and full Multimatic suspension. Is the 2023 Chevy Silverado ZR2 Bison a BETTER truck with a HUGE sales rebate?

Folks buying just a normal work truck are not using them as intended. Why would you think that folks flexing that they could afford the most expensive and capable version would use them as intended. My guess is HALF of these won't even see gravel let alone anything close to a serious off road trail.

I bought this. The steps are optional and they go on and off in about 5 minutes with 2 bolts each.

I got to agree with you in regards to the side steps hang down too far. Mine didnt come with them, but I did purchase them to make getting in and out a bit easier. I totally hate the glossy black hood bulge cause it reflects the sun into my eyes and its quite blinding. And also I still dont know that that random drum sound is for. Otherwise its an excellent riding truck

One opinion. In your driving impressions section maybe consider having a hat mounted camara or something. the way its at the ceiling gives a weird view of the interior pov. everything looks kinda squashed. love all your videos though

Great truck! Looks good. I don’t like the wheels or the steps. Easy to change. I would use amp fold steps. Huge upgrade on the interior. Very nice. Love the 6.2 LT engine! Needs a nice custom flow master exhaust with black tips. You know with the 12k in rebates I wonder how much under sticker I could get one? I hate my local Chevy dealer. I wish I had one close by I could trust. I am open to buying one of those for sure. Thanks for showing it.

It looks much better in all the other colors because like the trail boss it has all the black accents all around the vehicle which you don’t see when the vehicle is black. But you’re right joe it’s a really nice truck .

It's a really nice looking truck, especially with all the off road features but for 75k I think I would rather get a used tacoma for less than 20k and add my own 20k worth of upgrades. That's 35 thousand in savings for a potentially better and more personalized truck.

Wheels are 33 🤔 the ZR2 Colorado comes with 35's Major let down . You can't even put the thirty fives on the silverado without modifying the wheel wells.

Yes very weak exhaust note. For 2024 they added an active exhaust and a sport drive mode for the 6.2. Changes with the different modes. Not just for the ZR2 but for any 6.2. There are some clips on KZfaq and it sounds pretty good.

Stricter exhaust laws it would seem, but if you want you can option it with the chevy performance exhaust (borla type s) and you will be happy. Or aftermarket with a awe ofg exhaust system that sounds 🤌

I have a Sierra. It's been a great truck. $35k brand new. Not sure I would pay more for what essentially is the same truck that's not game changing in any way. In a post-Cybertruck world, it's hard to pay these prices for old school ICE.

1) If you buy this and don't take those steps off or God forbid, you PUT THEM ON, just take that truck back to the dealership and go buy a Prius instead 2) Why oh why did Chevy put 35s on the Colorado Bison but not the Silverado Bison?? It would look SO good with 35s 3) Those AEV wheels look nice from the side and I like the offroad pedigree, however, those offsets are TERRIBLE. I'm not a fan of poke, but those things are tucked a good inch and half under the fenders.

Nice outer design but GM interiors have always looked and felt cheap. These things r known for lifter failure. Give me a used 21 Tundra V8 that will get worse gas mileage but last 300k miles.

This is a huge disappointment. If you really want this truck wait 3 years and you can get it for half the price. But even at half the price you only have a quarter or life left before breakdowns. What the people really want Joe is for you to review your own car/trucks you drive.

Year after year Chevrolet always has the ugliest truck and blah interior. Alternatively I don’t mind the GMC variant but I still think Chevy needs to stop making such rectangular vehicles across the board.
