Is the 2024 Acura TLX Type S a BETTER new performance sedan than a BMW M340i?

The TLX Type S gets some changes from Acura for 2024. On the outside you will discover an all new color, different grill & front fascia. On the inside you will be greeted by more stitching, new 12.3in infotainment scrren and Acura watch front camera. Under the hoos is a 3.0L V6 mated to a 10-speed automatic.

I find the TLX to be a better deal than the Integra and the Type R (I know it's more expensive). Great car, luxury and performance perfectly combined and it's more than obvious that this Acura will last longer than a BMW.

Don’t care what any German fan boy says. When you calculate price, repairs and all that boring stuff, Acura is the best in class. My dream car combo is the NSX type S for nice days and this for long distance/bad weather.

I really like the TLX Type S but it’s overpriced just like the ITR. It’s heavy and has no rear seat room. It gets walked by a Stinger GT and a Genesis G70 and everything German. I just don’t understand why they didn’t make it lighter OR give it more power.

What's annoying is they are giving reviewers these cars with the 2023 wheels, because they look better than the new 2024 wheels. Why they changed such a great looking wheel is beyond me. Even worse, is this 2024 not only has 2023 wheels, but they are the special edition PMC wheels (Same wheel, just a gold/bronze color). Looks awesome, but that is NOT how they come from the factory.

I don't understand why half of the features in this car are not in the Integra Type S for its price point. Also, this car is WAY too heavy lol.

As a someone that owned a couple 3rd gen TL's including the first 3rd gen TL Type S. Really loved those TL's but Acura hit it out of the park with this one. Looks great! Nice performance as well. Great review Joe as always.
