Go Toyota!! I just leased a 2023 Highlander platinum when my lease is up in 2 years, all definitely going for the grand Highlander. My 23 four-cylinder turbo is amazing with power and it’s a gas engine. Can’t imagine what it would be like with the hybrid. Excellent job Toyota as usual. Toyota stands out over any other brand, reliability and resale!!!

Overall Joe I think Toyota did a bang up job with the Grand Highlander. I like it's sharper edges that it has compared to the Highlander. I think Toyota is turning up the volume knob to 10 lately. And I believe that the 2024 Camry debuts in November.

Love this new Highlander I bought the highlander XSE with red trim and love it but now I’m thinking I’ll trade it in and get the platinum grandhighlander. Thanks Joe and Lori you give great reviews

Question, when you say digital rear view mirror, does this mean that there is a camera located top rear of the vehicle that will allow you see what's behind you incases where have you have every seat in the 2nd and 3rd row occupied or when you are transporting cargo that fills out the entire cargo space with both rows down? I didn't see a camera when you were reviewing the rear of the vehicle and you were talking about not liking the rear windshield wiper location.

I know you prefer the hidden rear wiper, but as someone who has it on my 2010 Sienna, it is a giant PITA to replace the wiper and I just gave up after the last time when the wiper is now stuck partially exposed. I will take an exposed rear wiper all day long.

This was a great review. Thorough and fun! Did you happen to see any Grand Highlanders with the factory-installed integrated tow receiver? I'd love to understand how this changes the look of the rear of the car, how far does it stick out of the bumper, etc...? I don't need a tow receiver, but trying to decide if I also should avoid buying one with the tow receiver coming out of the factory.

Just started watching this video. Looks like Toyota has a nice family cruiser there. As I watch this on my phone, I'm at home with my XM receiver on Channel 33 1st Wave rocking out to Marky Ramone's Blitzkrieg show. Since this is supposed to be a luxury SUV, maybe this will sound great cranked up on the sound system.

My 19 Is still keeping me on the road and safe. Would love a trip to the dealership to see that Grand. But may drive out with one is my major worry. Thx Joe

I was going to get the Telluride, but then this was announced and decided to wait. Telluride looks better, but I've got a family that likes to road trip. I currently drive a 2015 Sienna XLE, and you mentioned something with this review that really resonates with me. I was in-between the Honda Odyssey and the Sienna. When you mentioned that Honda's shifting felt lazy, that's exactly why I didn't go with the Odyssey; the Toyota had more pep and got up to speed much better. I might just stick with the Toyota family! OR maybe Cybertruck... we shall see! Thanks for the great review.

I just bought a Grand Highlander and unfortunately noticed some vibration in the hood, the dealer told me that doesn’t seem normal but there is no current recall for that. They recommend to contact Toyota and raise this issue!! Do you know something more about this? Thank you!!

Amazing to obtain that MPG in a vehicle that is near 5000 lbs. A miracle of engineering. This is going to really give the Range Rover products some serious competition. Hard to believe this is considered "mid size". It seems rather large to me. I imagine most of the orders that the dealers will make will be for the $75k versions. Toyota is moving upscale every year, and the line between Lexus and Toyota is blurring in the USA>

Toyota has long been a favorite of mine for its reliability, but they are sure picking up the styling and frequent refreshes for many of their models lately. Loving that! It would be nice to have bench seats in the middle for that additional passenger though. Still, Toyota is Unstoppable right now.

I guess I'm in the minority on this one Joe. I don't think this comes close to the Maxda Cx-90. This doesn't look premium at all. The knobs look fake. It's nothing about this vehicle from the style to the knobs inside that looks premium. I saw the Mazda in person and that vehicle screams premium and they did a great job with the size and the overall look. $59k No if I had only $59k to spend Im getting the Telluride or Palisade. Just my opinion 🙂 Great Job as always Joe!!

I based my decision solely on your great videos… I purchased the 2023 GMC Yukon “Ultimate”. Silver Grey paint snd that beautiful interior. I got the exact same model, colors as the one that You, JOE, showed us in your video!! Thanks for posting your videos, it really helped me decide. I was trying to decide from the JEEP Grand Cherokee Summit Reserve, the Grand Wagoner, and a Land Rover. What do you guys think, did they make a good choice for the money snd what was s offered In each suv. After3 days negotiating the deal, I paid 72,000 out the door, but I did have to pay $800 for North Carolina DMV fees, which that invoice came one month after I bought the car. That was a surprise getting it. In California, out the door means the dealership pays all the fees the first year. So I was definitely surprised, but I do really like the Ultimate trim/model of this Yukon and I know the price is really hood, I got it about 30k below market value right now, so I figure I saved a lot on the price with the purchase. I have enough to pay the dmv fees, no need to be greedy. So Thanks so much for your 2 1/2 years of grsat information!! I watch other car video tours like yours, but clearly Raities Rides is my favorite I love the format of Joe’s videos, I always know when he’s going to tell us the pricing. I like the overall design and options but I don’t understand why the Platinum only has captains chairs for the second row. I guess my thought with a 3-row is to have the third row as an “as-needed” option where if you have 5 people in the vehicle, you can leave the third row down for cargo, luggage, etc. Otherwise you have one person in the third row and you’ve limited your cargo capacity. So far I’ve liked the MDX and Pilot having a removable mid seat but just wish they’d offer it as an optional configuration to have the 8 seat or 7 seat option on all trims.

Any issues hitting the buttons accidentally that are in front of arm rest?

I'm honestly glad Toyota is improving. The Grand Highlander is a pretty good SUV with practically and features. Ngl a TRD Pro or Adventure trim would be cool. Now I wait for the controversial comments. Uh oh.
