Sorry Joe, they are a sales catastrophe. I believe that the turbos and cheap Mexican labor will be the downfall of Toyota Tacoma. I guess no one wants to buy a $33,000 vehicle for 65,000 how crazy is that?

The quality sucks, the price for the 2024 Tacoma Limited i-FORCE MAX is over $57K and there is still no ventilation for the rear seat and no armrests. Production in Mexico, where an employee earns $2.75 per hour of work and after the Tundra accident, i.e. 250,000 trucks have engines that need to be replaced, I will thank you for an engine so complicated and troubled. TOYOTA is ending!

Love the Tacoma but I'd rather have rear air vents than wood finishes. I mean, this is the top trim.

You can get into a 1500 Silverado Duramax diesel for that price.

Sorry, Toyota really fouled up with this one. Tacoma, for thar price ...no ! Good to see they are finally embracing the Hybrid power train BUT ... Toyota engineers screwed up BIG time. With only ONE more MPG in the Hybrid, what the heck were they thinking? HYBRID is for better Fuel Economy not Power output! The tacoma hybrid should get over 30 MPG Easily combined driving. Similar sized SUVs can get 36 MPG with smaller turbo hybrid engine set ups. And those SUVs have beast modes (sport) that has all the power and acceleration you need . So they totally set this system up wrong, so it has no real advantage. Plus they are still using NMh battery instead of lithium, and stick the huge battery under the rear seat, using up all the interior cab storage. That battery needs to be UNDER the truck between the frame rails out of the way . That and get the price back into the 40k range, or you can keep this thing Toyota!

I've bought nothing but toyotas for 30 plus years but the problems with these and the tundras along with the ridiculous prices keeps me far away from these. The 4 cylinder tacomas used to be the cheapest model on the lot. Now the most expensive, Toyota needs to wake up.

$57k for a 4 cylinder turbo truck is criminal. Dealers are smoking crack to think people want to pay that much for something that not even fully loaded. More tech means more to fail. Dealers should be ashamed of themselves for charging this much. Don’t know how dealers sleep at night 😡

the "reliability" you mention is in serious question over many issues being discussed, and looking at the horrible reliability that is the "new" Tundra... Toyota isn't the company it used to be.. I wouldn't touch this thing for free... I'd sell it off and buy a Frontier.

Best midsize truck ever built? Tacomas across the country aren't selling and having problems that are hurting Toyota's legendary reliability reputation. What's more is that this particular one is the worst configuration possible: 4 doors & tiny bed.

Looks sharp in black. That said, I don't think Roman, Tommy, or Andre at TFL are big on Toyota right now. They've uncovered some durability problems with the transmission and 4WD differentials. I've also heard about issues with the Tundra turbo V6. Probably affects the V6 Tacos also.

Counted over 7 blank buttons on the dash/center console on a TOP TRIM.....meaning you need to buy a TRD PRO to not have any blank buttons.

I had 2005 and a 2016 Tacoma. After I saw the new Tacoma, I decided to get a 2024 Honda Ridgeline Black Edition. I got it for 2k under msrp. I dont go off road, so it is the perfect truck for me.

I have the TRD sport and love it definitely no turbo lag and only complaint is gas mileage but no truck gets decent gas mileage and I love the underground color

The old NA V6 had as much power as an e-bike. The new Turbo4 has more power than our GX460 V8! 😮❤ The dyno tells the story!
