FIRST DRIVE: It is finally time to get behind the wheel of the 2024 Tacoma. This truck competes directly with the GMC Canyon, Chevy Colorado, Ford Ranger, and Nissan Frontier. On the outside you will discover a new color called underground, all new sheet metal and wheels. On the inside there is a two-tone cloth interior, standard 8in infotainment system and digital gauge cluster. Under the hood is a 2.4L turbocharged inline-4 that is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. Is the 2024 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pre Runner a new midsize truck WORTH the PRICE?

Damn 39k for a two door 4 cylinder?!!! Thats a big hike! My 4D 2WD "TRD OR" which was basically a pre runner is the same price. Not sure about that price tag, but im sure it will sell like hot cakes

That's maybe a $35,000 🛻💨 considering my TRD 4X4 off-road manual was $39,280 it would be hard for me to pay almost that same price for a 2WD!

People are surprised about the price?! Have yall took the family out for dinner? Have you looked at the price for a house or rent on an apartment? Every one is saying how they bought the same truck for dirt cheap 6 six years ago. Well, this aint 6 years ago, and everything has gone up in price. Sometimes, if wonder if these people that comment get out of the house these days...

99% of truck drivers don't use 4x4 anyway. The rear lockers are more than enough. Like the access cab. Doesn't look like an Avalanche

Such a great trim. If we didn’t have our son I would 100% buy this one. Only ever owned 2WD trucks and it still has enough goodies to where it’s definitely not a base model truck you’re driving. Love the two door look, the body style fits perfectly. Plus it’s available in solar octane!

This Prerunner is pretty cool, Raiti 😎. The 8-inch infotainment isn't too bad considering you still get a digital dash. I was surprised that they didn't let you test drive other trims since I saw other reviews with other variants.

$39k for this is a little much, but 31k for the SR trim is not bad

Joe always does the best and most complete reviews. I always wait for his to watch first because he gets more content in his videos. If I were to get a Tacoma this is the version I would want with a extended cab with bigger bed. Rear seats of a mid size are not a good place to be anyway and the bigger bed is what I need.
