The Jordan 2 is a design waiting to be re-loved by the fashionistas: it's super clean, stylish and so timeless in style. It's just waiting for its moment to become the must have sneaker of the era. This Union collab is a big step in that direction.

The Air Jordan has always been cool. You could buy 2 pairs of made in Italy AJ2 low tops (white/red & white/black trim) for 40.00 at Copelands on 5th & Market in the 80's.

As a fan of 2's, I have to admit that I'm not thrilled about the recent popularity of the model due to the collabs. With that said, I look forward to more potential general releases.

I like the AJ2 because they are “different” in terms of design from the rest of the AJs, also how Nike wanted it to be a premium line. I find the earlier AJ generations tend to fit wider which I feel more comfortable as I have wide feet.

I actually am feeling these Jordan 2's. I'm starting to warm up to the model in general, and I'm hoping the remastered model is even better!

I think this collab is absolutely gorgeous! I'm ashamed to say I only really got in to shoes a few years ago so I had never really seen a Jordan 2 but I fell in love with the Rattan colorway when the first pictures leaked and need to get a pair. Unfortunately didn't get for retail so I'm watching the prices, hoping they drop 🤞 Amazing review as always!

I always loved 2s. I’m taking 2s over 10s, 8s, 9s any day of the week!!!

My first pair of Jordans was a pair of 2's, so they have a special place in my heart and I genuinely like them. 2022 looks like a comeback in retro 2's, keen for the more accessible and non-collab releases.

I really wish Jordan Brand can re-release some of the OG colorways of Air Jordan 2. I don't any of em' but would be glad to have a pair. These collabs just not doing it for me personally.

I prefer the 2 lows. They're one of the best designed low tops in the Jordan line, IMO. It's too bad that the best 2 lows we've got came in the form of a limited run, high hype Off-White versions. Take the Off-White 2s, remove anything Off-White, and release them.

I love the Jordan 2. When I was a lot younger I used to think the 2 was a more interesting sneaker than the 1. There are quite a few J2 CWs that I fell in love with instantly like the concord, infrared, & nightshade. I love different than the status quo and the Jordan 2 is def that.

If Jordan brand put energy behind the 2 the way NB and ALD put energy into the recent 650R, they would absolutely sell. They won’t outsell 1’s, but some new clean colorways with this shape would get people’s attention. I think a cool grey variant of the Jordan 2 would be super clean 🧼

I have the AJ 2 Decon in the Sail color way. Got them for WAY under retail on Stock X last year. Very underrated shoe for sure. Nice to see them get a mention and some love in this review.

I really like this colorway along with the Rattan joint. Absolutely hated the OFxAJ2 lol. I’ve owned the 25th anniversary and QF Black and White, and I really liked them (sad when the midsole started to crumble). Not paying resell for these, but happy to watch your review!

This shoe was always cool in my book, loved these when they retro’d around 03/04

Majority of newer “sneaker heads” are all hype. The 2s have always been an elegant design that always get overlooked. Union did a great job with these

I agree those are gorgeous. Too bad, them being collabs make them impossible to get for retail for us mere mortals. 😥 Also, I have those exact Jordan 2 decon and I love them. Always wanted to get all the other colorways of that shoe. Super underrated.

Air Jordan 2 is a great model.Its understandable that some people may have been turned off due to the butchering of the toe box over the years but now that the OG shape is coming back you see them for the great model that they have always been.To each their own though.

I am old enough to remember the Jordan 2 bricking and no one wanted to really wear them. Once they dropped the Jordan 3 the 2 was an after thought. I really didn't like the way the Union drop and the Benjamin kicks leak killed the desire to own these shoes for me. I am 💀. I am going to pass on this one. Great review though 👏

These Union 2s are an example of how to do a proper collab. Much more interesting than their new J1 shoe just out. Quality materials, well made, respectful to the OG but modernised in an aesthetically pleasing way. I've picked up x5 pairs of 2s in the last 6 months but these are the pick of the bunch. 👨‍🍳 💋 👌

2’s are amazing. Always and forever. All I want is the remastered OG to replace my tired retros.

1-14 always have special place with me. And that includes the 2. 2s always been hella fly to me. Especially WITHOUT that pinstripe on the upper like the OG Chicago 2 and the Wing It 2s. Makes it look much cleaner. Real talk, I do like the yellow Union 2s a little more.

I hated the 2s for most of my life, in the past few years, they have grown on me. These ... These are absolute fire.

Jordan 2’s are underrated as far as comfort as well. I think they are for sure top 3 maybe even THE comfiest. They just slip right on. Zero hassle.

When I was a kid me, my brother, and my dad all had matching powder blue AJ2 Lows. Part of the reason why I love the 32 Lows so much

I love no show socks. Can’t stand the higher cut, to the knee type of joints. Very dope pair of 2s I’ve gotta say. As someone who doesn’t stray from black/red/white too often as fas shoes go, I really like & wanted these

The Jordan 4 Union Off Noir is one of my all time favorite Jordan 4s. Its an amazing colorway and super comfortable and lightweight compared to other 4s. It also doesn't crease because it has a mesh toe box.

I have them in my rotation and get mad compliments on them! These are one of my favorite highs. ✊🏽

I got love for the New Girl clips and of course for the Yada-Yada. As for the shoes: They're absolutely gorgeous with the yellow laces.

I’ve always loved 2s I had pairs in the early 2000s and several from 2010. I hate the hype of Virgil and he’s death artificially inflated them. I hope we can see more 7-10, and 14-20 as time goes on.

Jordan 2 has always been cool. It’s under appreciated honesty

To me the Jordan 2 still ain't cool, but I loved the color of the rattan so I went after and hit and actually got my second invoice from union almost 3 weeks after actual release date and just waiting for them to ship. If it was just a Grey and blue pair I would of passed that rattan colorway is just so 🔥 I needed

The 2s were always a unique cup of tea for me. Couldn’t find a colorway I could gravitate to until these. Still waiting on Union to ship out my pair, but seeing ur review made me even more excited to get them in hand

Missed TWSS opp when he said "it's not a comfortable 2 finger fit" . These are dope, I already got the rattans but probably going to pick up the grey fogs too.

No, The Collab 2s are crazy though. The Beach Union 2s are crazy also. Swap the laces in the Grey Fog to light grey and it’s Game Over. The OG 2s will sit later this year

Youve said it yourself...a colorway can make or break a sneaker/silhouette...this CW def makes this sneaker

Always been a fan of Air Jordan 2's. Unfortunately can never get a pair.

Those are cool, definitely a slight redemption from the 4's..have the 87alt, but rarley wear em due to the same reason of em looking to bulky on feet.

2s have always been my favorite Jordan and I'm for every collab or colorway releasing.

I was on the fence about these but I really wanted to add a pair of 2s to my collection. I got lucky with the Union drop … I was trying for the Rattan color-way but accidentally clicked on these. Seeing them in hand changed my mind. These are great… a perfect spring shoe.

There will be a day I would purchase a Jordan 2, but for now I'll stick with the 1,3,4 and 5. I tried these on instore at an Offspring in London, UK. Just didn't appeal to me, on feet they looked odd. A missed opportunity with the materials, as suede and premium leather would have been awesome. Canvas totally lets it down. Although this union drop was probably the worst drop in the history of shoes ( other than the trophy room 1's) I'm still excited to check these out. I got the Rattan colorway and they come in this Friday. Can't wait to check them out

I think Union did way better with the 2's than A Ma Maniere did. That being said, Union had one on the worst drops of all time with these 2's and people being charged multiple times for orders not processing correctly. After the Union Dunk release I don't expect to hit on their site anymore.

Always loved the 2s. I prefer wearing the Black Deconstructed retro for smart casual/semi-formal attire instead of the 11s. It looks like wearing high-top Florsheims, but more comfortable.

I love my OW 2s! The design concept of that shoe is so cool and it's probably the closest thing I'll get to an original Jordan. At first I was on the fence about the Union 2s but then I got lucky and managed to get a pair of SNKRS Canada and I am so happy that I did. They're bitchin'! Just like WearTesters videos! If you know you know!

It’s always been cool to me but I’ve always loved the silhouette and the story behind it. The collabs annoy me as people buy it for the resell rather than to actually wear them

I like these a lot. I have no beef with 2's, even though I've never had any. I wanted 1 of the pairs they dropped but couldn't get them. I believe the yellow ones are called "Rattan" and seem to be a Union exclusive from what I remember.

After ages I got a W in SNKRS for these. Of course they do not have a high resell value. Anyway I wanted for me. In hand even better. Hopefully we will have OG retros soon too. And the AMM ... happy if nobody else liked the 2s.

Minus the collaboration details, these would completely be in-line with the Melo collection when Carmelo had his signature line!

2s have been one of my favorite Jordans. It’s just unfortunate Jordan Brand did not release ANY nice colorways lately, right until they became sort of hyped. Meaning it is harder to get a pair now.

Aside from the dope shoes, I'm digging that Ben Reilly Scarlett Spider shirt. Fire.

I like the 2’s! I’ve been waiting for them to release some of the OG color ways but I’ve always thought the 2’s are very wearable casually.

I think I read a long time ago that the original AJ2 has full length air to protect MJ’s foot better. Anyway, I LOVE the 2 more than the one, especially the home version with the white midsole. Those joints are clean AF!

I've always loved twos since I first got into Jordan's back in 2014. My first pair was the alternate 87s! I even copped the black Deacon 2s. So I'm trying my hardest to cop every two that releases this year!😅

Iv never liked 2s until these. Things are dope AF.

That’s how I felt about all the 4s at first, thought they were all ugly but the Noirs grew on me big time. But not enough to pay full resale for ‘em

The 2 has grown on me but the high gives off a Burlington fila vibe. I prefer the lows any day of the week

First off RIP Peter Moore The A Ma Maniere 2 collab is going to be the one to bring the hype to the 2 I think. I've loved 2s for years personally, really unique design (though that can be said for damn near every Jordan honestly) and they have the wings logo on there, which I also love

I love Air Jordan 2s, I fell in love with them around 2013. So they’ll always be cool to me. I wasn’t a fan of the off whites personally.

I think they look very good. That being said, I'm waiting for the remastered ones as those are a must for me. Hope they don't get to much interest and can secure a pair. Also, don't get the hate on the Jordan 2. I get that they are not as popular as the 1 3 and 4 or have the pedigree of the championship ones. That being said, I'll put the 2 over the 10, the 8 and the 12 and on par to the 14, the 5 and the 7.

I wanted to have a pair of 2s but never got an opportunity to do so. I liked the Radio Raheem joints and I think those are the best non-OG colorway for me. This UN/LA for sure looks cool.

I got a pair of Chicago 2 Lows at the Nike Outlet about 4 years ago on a 30% off sale. I could have gotten 20 pairs of them. I have also gotten SB Dunk Lows there and at Marshalls only a few years ago. The Jordan 2 was never taken seriously even though the OG shoes were made in Italy. I always thought they were beautiful. Now that resellers have successfully hijacked the sneaker market, shoes that never held any value at all, except the sentimental kind, are out of reach for just about everyone who's not rich...so, everyone.

it's cool if it has a resell value. That's the thing now, whatever shoe it was as long as it's hyped, heat. You can have a doctor martens x off white then it will be fire.

Nike could make bank selling those react insoles from the BB Nxt, they go so well with other nike shoes with trashy insoles…

I’m not the biggest fan of the AJ2 mid but those look dope. The suede looks buttery as hell!! Kinda disappointing that the insole isn’t beefier especially since the midsole is dense …and for that amount of money. I dig it.

The cuts of the AJ2 after 94 were trash but it had been so long since they were out, the young cats only knew that cut. This remastered version cut is much much better which is why they go!!

I love the AJ2, especially the lows, but they hace a sillouette that just hits so good

Glad that you mentioned union’s origin. Great shoe but there whole campaign was directed to exclusivity. Word on the street lots of backdoor pairs were sold.
