Guys I'd like to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for writing all those comments on the internet about Italian cars. People here in Australia don't know Alfas, they are very rare, they see them on the road, they like them and then go on to read about them and come across your comments about how unreliable they are! And that keeps used Alfa prices rock bottom! You are offering a great service to the community, you saved me thousands of dollars on my used Alfa, thank you so much and keep up the good work!

Careful, there are MANY trolls on the net writing completely fictitious stories. There's one using multiple ID's (or several who knows) on YT who writes how much he's an Alfa fan but will never buy another because Alfa will not honor it's warranties. I immediately knew the stories were untrue and later saw similar but slightly different versions to make it sound there were many owners experiencing the same thing. When I called him (them) out, I got laughter emoji's and other snide remarks proving the stories are completely bogus.

I won't mention names as I cannot be arsed to get in to a debate. I got a brand new car several years ago and it spent more time in the dealership for the first nine months of ownership for continuous faults and failures than me driving it. The result was a refund because in the end they admitted that they didn't know what was wrong with it and couldn't fix it.

I purchased my first Giulia in April 2018. I purchased my second in May 2021. It is the first car I have ever had that I turned around and bought the make/model again. These cars have not been perfect, I have had a couple of glitches where the dealer had to do updates. The first Giulia had right around 60k when I traded it in. The only reason is that I was at the dealership for an oil change and ended up trading when I and saw a blue one with only 16k I had to have. I have used both of them in my job where I was commuting from Peoria, IL to Tennessee and surrounding states where my job territory was at the time. I have never once experienced a mechanical issue that disabled the car. The car was my office, spent hours idling in parking lots in the hot summer with the AC running, stuck in traffic jams, etc.

best moment i had with my ‘18 Ti Sport, back in early 2019 i was behind a motorcyclist at a red light, he peaked in his side mirrors and did a TRIPLE take to take a look at the car. back then i was pretty sure i was the only one with a Giulia in the area (had the car since early 2018, it almost took 2 years to finally see another one in town), i definitely felt special. people aren’t joking when they say this car breaks necks despite it being a base model. the handling is my 2nd favorite thing about the car for sure, it almost feels like it’s doing a precise nose dive into a turn then eats it up like nothing. drove a friends c300 w/ the amg package and it does not even come close when it comes to handling, almost felt like a regular economy car compared to the Giulia.

@@_fast4lfa well, I miss the sunroof which really made the interior feel bigger, but I know that the carbon fiber roof gives you less weight and more headroom in the QV. I also miss having the AWD for the snowy weather we get, it handled snow really well, even on the OEM tires. Also. It got a little less attention, now everyone wants to race me all the time 😆. Also for some reason my 2017 QV doesn't have cupholders in the back, or folding seats( which I know they added later). I need to do a review of it!

I LOVE my Guilia ti Sport. I bought it new, 2021 model. Although I’ve had some bad luck in it (broken rear rim bringing it home!) (broken front bumper from hitting a large Ottoman in the road going 50.) It has been the BEST car I’ve ever driven. Mechanically, no issues whatsoever. By far the most FUN car I have had. Would highly recommend it. I have owned it since August 11 2021. At age 60, not my first rodeo. I get lots of notice and on occasion an impromptu race pops up. I hit Dynamic mode and beat them all. Easily beat a Challenger the other day without Dynamic on. I love, love, love my Guilia.

I had a 2017 Q4 from 2018 to 2021. Bought it with 9k original miles. Traded it in at 60k miles (I commute 100 miles a day) because: 1) couldn't fill up the gas tank due to some charcoal filter issue, 2) the steering wheel clicked when turning to one side. The dealer wanted to replace the entire steering column. 3) the radiator was "seeping" fluid, but it was leaking, 4) and a couple other things the dealer found that I had no idea about. Total cost of maintenance was going to be $7000+, so I drove it over to Lexus and got a reliable car.

Great video. I own the Motor Trend Misano Blue Ti that they had in their fleet back in 2018. I just hit the 50,000 mile mark and the car has been flawless. The only three issues I had were the same starter relay problem, which I replaced with a brand new relay, my rear defroster doesn't seem to work, and the auto start/stop never kicks in. While driving the headlights will momentarily flicker off and on or turn off then back on. Only notice that at night. All work done was covered and under the warrenty. Would I recommend it? I bought a brand new 2019 Guilia Ti sport and I absolutely loved it until about 15,000 miles. It was in the shop for over two months off and on for issues that they couldn’t seem to figure out. I experienced the battery issue within six months I had in the car and they replaced it with a Maserati battery because they said six months to get a new alpha Romeo battery! at 12,000 miles I started smelling antifreeze and I noticed a pinhole in the radiator and within a week it was gushing all over the engine. I took it in to service as I was about to go on a trip and they were very nice about it however they had to give me a radiator they had waiting for another customer because I was so upset that I just been in three times already in the past 2 months. The other issues I was having was that it took me 20 minutes to fill up the gas tank every time because the pump would just click off and I would have to baby it to get the rank full. Embarrassing to say the least. Finally after a code came up after two years of this in the car because they could never figure it out and they eventually replaced some part in the fuel system to make it stop doing it but at that point i already had so many computer issues as well I was done with the car. Was the most fun I’ve had in a car in a very long time on the twistiest of roads as far as handling and looks go it was unmatched. I’ve had 33 cars in my lifetime and none that were that beautiful. It is my daily driver so it has to be reliable. Again it was a great car up until 15,000 miles. Was definitely worth the experience but I would buy a used one to let somebody else get all the quirks out of it first and make sure it’s under warranty. Replaced the Alfa with a total opposite car which is a 2020 mustang GT, Oddly enough the insurance dropped when I bought the GT? Well worth the experience of owning the Alfa though. Just know what you are getting into. This will be my 6 th Gt but there will only be one Alfa.
