100% agree on the radio. I have the Notorious and the Typhon 3s and in both I am taking out the garbage Spektrum systems and I went with the Flysky FS-GT5. I started a thread in the Arrma forums asking Horizon to go with a better radio for the next line up.

Horizon owns Arrma and Horizon owns Spektrum. They just need to put better stuff in but that raises the price point and the buyers need to spend money with Horizon upgrading

Custnam My Flysky FS-GT2 from 2008 is cheaper than the Spektrum STX2(I had the Tactic controller that came with my granite mega 4x4). The Flysky FS-GT2 is 12volt, has long rang I’ve got it to about a 1/4 mile and had a hard time seeing it, very responsive, the forward and rear throw is shorter than the spektrum DX5R. Thank you for speaking about your flysky transmitter I’ve literally been scanning through the comments to learn if anyone cared about Kevin’s radio transmitter of choice, and that NB4 is my next choice cant wait to give it a go. How do you like the GT5, how do you like the self stabilizing feature? Take care 😁

The 4s line of kraton and outcast are the toughest rc cars I’ve ever bought/used I have the kraton and might buy the outcast I only have broken 2 pieces so far

I like how you say the finish it with this voice, and i like this talalala with this funny voice when Pat or you run to save your rc's . Man these voices make me to like even more your videos. Also the crashing sound is very very cool, and i love of how happy you are and make fun with Pat. Really i enjoy your videos and i also laugh. Im looking to buy a couple of brushless 2wd truggy or monster truck(1/10ish) from an established brand that is tough and is cheap to maintain. What should l get? And if l get a 4wd version of above?? Oh, right... 🙄😪🤕 Takes a beating from a stunt driving noob too... and yeah, that radio is the only real issue but a DumboRC cheapo fixes it up great for 30 tiny Canadian pesos PS it shoots off lots of sparks when you flip it on a road in the twilight hours... very F1 feel...
