Manetho says Moses was a Heliopolitan priest of Osiris names Osarseph. Jonas & Jesus taught us about a coming star sign in Cetus (the Whale) they had witnessed. The OT was apparently cobbled together from centuries of oral tradition around 273 BC Alexandria. There was definitely more than one Exodus. Manetho mentions an early one. Moses was #2. Jeremiah probably #3 ...

She is saying that people are believing claims that are not verifiable or rooted in historical accuracy. Belief is not at all the same as historical accuracy, and belief is especially delusional when the belief does not account for the historical accuracy upon which the actual belief is based. She is a biblical scholar and much of what she says about biblical history is pretty much consensus, so since you are wondering about the heaps of people who believe in the bible perhaps you mean it would be nice to see her talk about it with theologians instead, which is also a totally different subject being that scholarship is based on verifiable evidence and theology is not based on verifiable evidence but rather merely unverifiable claims and belief (faith).

The books where are written hundreds of your after the supposed time are the least reliable . Everything before the arrival in the land of Canaan was not written down at the time because the Jews learned how to write from the Canaanites and the script changed again during their Babylonian captivity. The genetic evidence shows that modern day askenazi jews are close to 40% Canaanite and Palestinian jews are 70% Canaanite which confirms that there was a significant integration of the indigenous culture with the jews . Note that Palestinians and Lebanese are also 70% Canaanite which indicates the war between these nations is a civil was based on religious segregation.

The egyptian timeline is being considered to be incorrect. If so, this shifts everything historically. There is a documentary on the exodus that shows this shift, and if so, everything in the OT lines up.

My first question for this FRANCESCA STAVRAKOPOULOU, Would be the following 👇🏿 Is *CAESAR AUGUSTUS* a FICTIONAL Character in history or a FACTUAL Character in history ❓🤔💭
@jura_rose2 жыл бұрын
Yes. Because there is scholarly evidence for his existence. For the same reason why we know William the conqueror existed and King Arthur didn't. It is a scholars job to differentiate between fiction and history, contemporaneous textural and archeological evidence being the bread and butter of such investigations.

She is so ridiculously wrong…whether you are a believer, agnostic, or atheist…I really hope you look deeper into this than she has. I’ve gone down a rabbit hole the past few years and my mind has been blown as far as how much of the Bible is corroborated by archeology finds and other cultures. For her to say definitively that Moses didn’t exist is irresponsible and risky…she’ll probably eat those words in the future as archaeological discoveries continue…or maybe not…but that’s kind of my point…she lacks an open mind and which is critical for a “Growth Mindset” therefore she will only see what she thinks she already knows…confirmation bias. Same is true for believers who are scared to learn something that contradicts their belief systems. I promise if you look deeper into this with an objective and logical approach…it is extremely difficult to come to her conclusions. The burden of proof for anything else taught in academia regarding “History” is so low…yet impossibly high for anything written in the Bible.

It would be unbelievable if the Bible didn't get _some_ things right, because for a great deal they are describing the near past from the authors' perspective. However, the Bible does not get it right any more often than you'd expect - and indeed, gets it wrong _even more often_ than you'd expect.
