4 wins a day, every day since beta. I come home and don't want to play because it feels like a job. But my lizard brain is like must aquire gold. Dont even spend it, just play my pet decks. The gems from the pass I let ride to help pay for the next pass.

Just to add a little more context: Each level requires 1000 XP. Arena has weekly wins where you earn 250 XP for your first 15 wins of the week. They have the daily quests which give you 500 XP once completed, and the daily wins, which gives you 25 XP for the first 10 wins per day. So the maximum amount of points one can gain in a week is 9000. If you're a daily player getting 5 wins per day and completing the quests, you would get 8125 XP per week. If you only play one day per week, but get all 15 wins and complete the three quests (Arena keeps up to 3 quests active at a time), you would earn 5500 XP. Hard to do if you're only playing an hour or two like Amy said. If you get five wins in a week and complete one quest, you would receive 1875 XP that week. If we assume each season is three months (although the release schedule doesn't necessarily follow this timeline,) then based of a twelve week estimate you should reach the following levels based on the previous scenarios: Maxed out points: 108 Daily Quest completed, 5 wins/day: 97 Once a week, all quests and weekly wins: 66 Once a week, one quest and five wins: 22 Definitely not worth it for the casual player, but for anyone that plays daily and completes their daily quests, it's easy to see the value. One last thing: for previous Mastery Passes, if you did the pre-purchase for $50, they would also start you on level 10, giving you all the rewards from those levels automatically from the start. I'm not sure if they provided any additional draft tokens in exchange, although I see they provided 5 Play-In points, which is useless for someone like me, as I'm a very average player who doesn't play the meta decks and has about a 50% win rate with my home brews on my good days. I finished the latest pass by doing all my daily quests, and all my weekly wins. Even without having more than 3 or 4 daily wins most of the time. I even made 8 levels beyond "max". So yeah, if you're (mostly) commited to your dailies, you should be able to (almost) complete the paid pass. But let's be honest, that doggo soldier is worth it, right?

Thank you for the very clear break down of your thoughts and ides on the subject. I wasn't ever very sure about where in the pass it started to be a good value or not. For myself I tend to pick it up if I find myself playing a lot of the set it is tied to, and if I'm not then I just ignore it.

Thanks for the summary, I personally see the pass as costing 2200 since it gives you 1200 back, so for me it is worth it but I may wait to see if I reach the stage in which I get the rewards before buying.

Great video, hope you can do some premier draft, I have tokens to do them , however not very good at drafting, even in quick draft. I think mostly only do rare drafting, but feel that is wasting value from the tokens, however if do rare draft might not end with a good enough deck.

I simply wait to see how far I progress. If I've gotten at least half way, it's usual with it to buy

I'm getting 3 wind per day very rarely more + completing dailies or at least enough to get new one from next day and I'm always completing mastery pass since theros it's when i started playing arena
