Is The Bundesliga Europe’s Most Exciting League?

4 жыл бұрынThe Premier League title race is making Ligue 1 look competitive, Real and Barca are battling it out in La Liga as usual and while Juve are struggling a bit in Serie A, it’s the Bundesliga that we’re glued to.
Only 6 points separate the top five, meaning Bayern Munich might not make it eight league titles in a row with RB Leipzig and Borussia Dortmund in hot pursuit.
There’s drama at the bottom of the league too, as 2004 champions Werder Bremen face being relegated. So, could the Bundesliga be the most exciting league in Europe right now?

It's the most exciting in terms of drama and raw and rude old school football atmosphere. But not in terms of race for championship, Bayern always wins in the end. But while Premiere League, Primera División and Seria A turned into Lady Gaga, Germany still remains punk rock. 50+1 rule rules!

Serie A is a farmers league without a shadow of a doubt, same as the french league. Im not even gonna talk about the Premier League. La Liga is the best one for sure.

@@mokaPCP Farmers league? have you seen the stats from players who go there? They usually go down specially strikers because Serie A is probrably the most difficult league to score a goal since all teams even juventus play a very defensive football, and you keep saying it's a farmers league?

The Bundesliga is the worst because Bayern keeps winning and when Dortmund has half a chance of catching up, Bayern just buys their players. The Premier league is the best because it's unpredictable.

The most exciting league in Germany is the second league 2. Bundesliga. Everything can happen, all clubs are member owned and its all about football and not about beeing a media machine like Bayern, Dortmund etc.

Shankhajit Das english top flight league football have always been miles ahead of it’s european competitors since it’s early days in the 1900’s and the official numbers are there to prove it. But atmospheric wise, the Bundesliga is far better than the premier league in this category.

Ganang Sumarsono It’s unpredictable excluding Bayern. Everything else is pretty unpredictable and fun to watch. You should watch some games that don’t include Bayern or Dortmund in it. Fun to watch.

Leverkusen has the money, structure and players to be 1st or 2nd almost every season in the past 20 years. As a Borussia Mönchengladbach fan it's frustrating to not only fight the big clubs and underdog teams of the hour for European spots but with Wolfsburg and Leverkusen you always have sleeping giants in the competition. They should be Top 5 every season but they change from competitors for titles to lower mid table within in seasons. It's almost scary

The tension is more in the rest of the league, which is really the most unpredictable. Also considering the number of spectators and the atmosphere, it is certainly more attractive than most other leagues.

Anyone who says the bundesliga is a farmers league knows nothing about football. Yes, the top of the league has been pretty predictable the last 7 years but everything below varies every year. The bottom of the league is always a joy to watch, football is more than titles and trophies. All in all it is pretty unpredictable, who would have thought that schalke ends up last place this season. Or dortmund not ending up on 4th and thus not qualifiying for cl With 3 more matches left to play they still have a chance and everything from 2-5 and below is still pretty unpredictable.

Consider moving offsides rule to penalty box area only, as so many whistles for offsides and fouls are breaking up the flow of game. Offsides make more sense when there is imminent scoring chance in penalty box area, little sense when outside penalty box area.

We hate Leipzig and Hoffenheim Because they are owned by a billionaire and a company. They also don't uphold the 50+1 rule. Even Leverkusen and Wolfsburg uphold that rule although being owned by companies. every other club is independent.

It's not that exciting, if the champion is already known before season starts at all. There is no reason to assume that something's gonna change this in nearer future. Quite the opposite.

Premier League. Most entertaining, most popular, most fans, most money, most talked, most covered, most watched, most hated, most adored, most overrated, most underrated, everything. That's why it's the best league in the world. Even if the PL teams doesn't allowed to play in the European competition, they'd still can compete with the CL in terms of viewers. Oh and they got different teams to win the league every season. Not just 1 or 2 teams.

Bayern has his own great youth academie (Bayern Campus) with some amazing talents. Look at the third bundesliga. Bayern II is filled up with talents from Bayerns youth academie and they were 7th in the third german league before the break! So their second team is better than many professional clubs in Germany.
