Guys in reality if you want to be fully financially independent you should take The Whole CA qualification as a skill and you use it to harness resources to be successful in business. There are other areas too, Human resources, IT integration, Banking relationships, Networking and many more.Otherwise you will end up working for SARS.The more you rise in the corporate ladder the more you work for SARS.With such a high Acumen in business it is a pity to see CAs begging for jobs and paying more than 45% to SARS.A successful fruit and veg vendor can earn the Salary of a top manager in three days in SA.Please don't get trapped with such a harsh system

@@barnabaszirebwa958 But all formal businesses pay tax, at 27%. If you pay yourself a salary out of the business then the salary gets taxed like that of any other employee. If you pay yourself a dividend, still there’s a 20% dividend tax to pay. So I don’t see how you think you can legally escape SARS while earning above the tax threshold. And I’m sure you’re not suggesting that CAs should go sell fruits and vegetables in the informal sector, you don’t need to be a CA to do that. But I do take your point that being a CA empowers you with skills. It is what you do with those skills that will determine your financial success.
