I have a very special guest today for this sitdown, we have come from two different places but we shared a very similar story. He is a fellow named William Rodriguez Abadia, the author of Son of the Cali Cartel. He was also featured in Narcos on Netflix, which we have also talked about. He also answered questions about Mafia’s involvement with drugs, a very interesting and insightful conversation that you would surely love.

I am actually in Cali Colombia at the moment. A Colombian friend of mine was assassinated last year because he hit on the gf of a cartel guy. He was gunned down right inside of the bar but not a single person is willing to speak to the police and the video tapes in the bar "disappeared". These people are savages and not business men.

His father and uncle were some of the most powerful and intelligent criminals of all time. All due respect to the Mafia guys in the USA but they had nothing on these Colombian Cartels. These guys had Capo's that were making as much as all five New York Mafia bosses combined. They had the perfect product at the perfect time and they were smart enough to maximize it. Michael it was like your gas scam, people knew about it but to get to the top of it and really maximize it's potential it takes a very smart individual like yourself. His father and uncle were literally fighting Pablo Escobar himself which is unbelievable to even fathom what that would be like. Amazing video Michael!

It was the 6th Mafia family: The Rizutto LCN family in Montreal that was dealing with the Cali Cartel. Niccolo Rizzuto (Vito Rizzuto's father) was living in Venezuela and had a major operation with the Cali Cartel. Nicollo Rizuto was originally a member of the Ndgrangeta and feared being killed by the group. He later moved to Venezuela to hook up with the Cali cartel. He then became a huge kingpin. Later he moved back to Montreal and took the power and made the 6th mafia family called the Rizutto family. His son later took over and became a huge boss in Montreal. Yes What happens is that those from New York never had a concrete alliance with another criminal organization, even with Cosa Nostra itself and Ndrangheta in Italy, their relationships were murky. There were very greedy guys like Carlo Gambino, Paul Castellano, Vincent Gigante and other bosses who They were content with receiving millions of dollars from other activities and they only worked for that when they wanted to get into drugs, a group agreed. They started talking to those in Italy about heroin, but again that group of old bosses refused when the Bonanno family began to earn thousands of millions of dollars from the trafficking of heroin coming from the Sicilians. The boss of the Bonanno at that time began to represent a threat to the old men since it was seen from leagues that he was going to destroy them due to economic and tactical power, so they conspired and They killed him, I'm talking about Carmine Galante, former head of the Bonanno with a very good relationship with the Sicilians. That didn't happen with the mafia installed in Canada. Rizzutto, Musitano, Pappalia, Cuntrera-Coruana and the others were involved in heroin trafficking and They began to talk to the Colombian cartels and other parts of South America using contacts from Italy that already had a relationship with the Cosa Nostra cartels, but currently the Ndrangheta work together and very well moving tons of cocaine to Europe, Canada and Us and the New York mafia was almost extinct and without relevance today the ndrangheta with a very strong presence in Canada works without problems with the Mexican, Colombian, Peruvian, Bolivian cartels

I could safely bet that no one from The Ochoa family would sit down to do a podcast/KZfaq interview for someone’s KZfaq channel. What would be the benefit to their family other than to generate gossip & make someone else money? Los caleños desde los tiempos de antaño hasta el día d hoy, han sido y siempre serán obsesionadamente envidiosos d Medallo. You say you were “raised in NYC since I was 4 yrs old” & you don’t know this? Hmm, interesting! It’s easy to have an interview, when the interviewee is not from that World, from that culture, nor from that country (Colombian). He didn’t know what to ask and from what perspective Mr Orejuela was replying from. The Medellin culture is completely different. That’s why it’s the most hated & envied upon. If you’ve known anyone that’s been in the feds, even the Latinos from other countries notice the “Vibes” the people from Cali give off. It’s not liked nor respected. La mayoría d los sapos son Del Valle del Cauca . Solo hablé y comente, cuando sepa y esté seguro, d q en la calle no lo vayan a desvestir 😉

The Colombians had their own connects to the local drug dealers in NYC in the 70's. They did not work with the Italian mafia that much. Colombians would work with Mexicans and Dominicans that shared the same language that were moving cocaine. I know a few Jamaicans who had connects with people in the Cali organization. There was so much cocaine in the 80's that the market was fragmented. Hundreds of different drug cells.

I pray for Sammy….he is lost and I don’t think he’s going to make it back home❤️🙏😞 He hasn’t learned what he came here to learn like Michael. That is simply….what love is all about. Especially for his fellow man. Very little patience, understanding, selflessness or love from that man. He’d rather fly off the handle and kill you. You have to learn and acquire the attributes of God while your here in your temporary home🙂❤️ And arrogance alone will keep you out of Heaven

Fantastic video Michael. Can you do a video on Thomas and Rosemarie Uva? They were the modern Bonnie & Clyde who held up social clubs owned by the Gambino and Bonanno families before they were murdered in Ozone Park by Dominick Pizzonia.
