Christianity is never boring. When i moved abroad i also struggled with keeping my faith but when i found a community in church i found it as an asset and we definitely do fun stuff as young adults like we do movie nights in church,go bowling,do barbecue and definitely bible study together. Community in Christ is everything🥰

In listening to this podcast, I find resonance with both of you. In my journey as a Christian, I've come to realize that our spiritual growth hinges on our earnest pursuit of God. Establishing a regimen, such as a consistent prayer and Bible study routine is crucial. It's about being intentional in nurturing our relationship with God, understanding that just as we invest effort in our earthly endeavors, we must also cultivate our spiritual selves through prayer and studying His word. Strengthening our spirit enables us to combat the challenges and temptations we face. This journey becomes more manageable with the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Indeed, a genuine Christian walk cannot thrive without His presence. Moreover, it's essential to recognize that what unfolds in our physical lives often mirrors the spiritual realm. May these insights offer guidance to those on a similar path🙏🏾

I love what sharon said about secular music . We should not entirely say listening to secular music is wrong but be careful on the spirit and message in the song . I mean we have really beautiful love songs that we need to dedicate to our loved ones.

I really loved this episode. I saw how on Tiktok there's a 'club' like thing for christians where they go out, food, games, drinks, worship and it brought out many people but backlash came because it's not the norm. Stounge christians only think worship has to be a certain way forgetting there was a time David danced till hsi clothes came off. We shouldn't shy away from wanting to be youthful in God. It's the best.

So you learned the word through various activities, there was worship and lunch served then they had a bus that would pick and drop kids off...at the end of the bible school you present in the main service all you learned. Kids were split into ages so you made friends. NPC really helped me grow in faith. Imagine there’s no right or wrong way to pray to God.. you can literally just thank Him for good health and life every day or have a conversation with Him about things that happened within your day and that’s already one form of a prayer and thank Him for the things within that day that you’re grateful for.. or you can use scripture to pray.. open Psalms for a starter and just read a chapter or verse out loud and relate it to your life.. don’t give yourself too much pressure you can also ask the Holy Spirit to show you how to pray and He will do it because He was given unto us as a helper and that’s what you’ll get.. a helper

I was the only one in the crowd not worshipping coz it felt so wrong. She stepped down from the stage and persistently forced me to worship but I refused and refused. It was so scary coz it felt so real. I beg to differ about fasting. Fasting to ask for something is not wrong but it shouldn't be a formula that when you want abcd you just fast and God will grant it,that's now manipulation. Please help us define youthful ways to worship God so that we do not get misled. Admiring the pattern of the world to use as tool to spread the word is dangerous. I am still a new believer. People don't encounter God through "FUN" really. The matter of salvation is not what you do, it is God who calls people. Whether we organise many fun events, it is God who will choose to call a sinner to salvation or not,not human effort. If God says "Sharon use fun event to reach my generation, don't consult anyone. Go and do it. His presence will be there. God doesn't lower His standards for anyone. Otherwise, I love the authenticity and how you two break myths about living in God's will. Its Him who can get us out of our own mess. When you receive Christ snd and you genuinely submit, He will lead you out of sinful previous habits. There will be transformation. You can't receive Him yet without fear enjoy committing sin. Powerful episode, BE INTENTIONAL. You two have been deep. Be blessed.
