Police reform is must for India. There are many brilliant officers like Mr.Rajan, who knows practical ways to make it possible. Half of the problems that exsist in India will be solved if Police system works properly. Most developed countries has implemented long ago many suggestion given in this video like transparency, enough funds for police department, keep complainers name secret etc. So it is very much possible if people in power wants to make a change.

The system is different. In USA - 1. the police does not arrest people just for extortion. 2. In courts, justice delivery is very fast and involves- a) Discovery process before court date - this involves all the arguments and counter arguments exchanged between the 2 sides, before they see the judge for the first time. this eliminates "DATES". b) There is a recording of the whole case hearing in the court, and both sides are entitled to get a free copy of the CD. c) Normally there is one court date on which the judge disposes the case and judgement is announced at the end. It may take the whole day, and sometimes as long as 7-8 hours . d) The judges are genuinely accountable for their actions, and face action, if they did anything wrong.

मुझे ऐसा लगता है कि ये क़ानून कभी बदले ही नही जाएंगे क्योंकि ऐसे बड़े अपराध तो सिर्फ नेता और अमीर लोग ही करते है और नेता भला उस कानून में संसोधन क्यों करे जिस कानून से उसे फायदा हो। इन बातों से हम सब भलीभांति अवगत है ।जैसा कि सर ने कहा इन सब परेशानीयो को दूर करने के लिए हमे पहले सोच बदलनी होगी।

धन्यवाद महोदय, आपने कितना सुल्जा हुआ बयान दिया है। यह कानून तो भारतीय नही है इसीलिए ये पक्षपात करता है। भारतीय न्याय प्रणाली तो निसर्गा युक्त है जैसे कि मनुस्मृति। manusmiritiya वक़्त के और निसर्ग के नियम से बदलती रहती है। हमे यह उधार का कानून त्याग के भारतीय न्याय प्रणाली बनानी होगी। पहिला कदम ये होना चाहिए कि कोई भी किसी को सैलूट न करे, अगर आपको सम्मान करना है तो अपना हात हृदय पर रखे। इसे शुरुवात करते ही मानसिकता बदलना शुरू होगा। धन्यवाद।

Dear sir, Yes. Judiciary should be very fast.e.g.every police station building top floor should be of Magistrate court to clear todays possible offences. Punish and dispise of small cause cases.k.s.ramchandra.

@Abhinav Rajput jankari hai mujhe kanoon pr bhi kuchh kam kiya gaya hai...court bhi guideline dete rhte h jb khi legislative vacuum hota hai...but criminal law wo bhi basic...us pr to aaj bhi sb kuchh waisa hi hai....
