sir i am very confused.. i am 2021 mech passout.. was looking for job in DA filed.. i have consulted with various it seniors who are already working in industry and they told me.. for now its next to impossible to get afresher DA job..due to this i stopped studying practicing sql, python and i am very demotivated now.. what should i do sir? should i switch my domain to full stack web development? so that at least i can have a hope of getting a job to start my carrier in IT filed as a mech grad?...Data analyst me bhaut mara mari hai lagraha.. i applied for internships but they are asking to solve the questions using ai and ml which is not required in DA filed? should i go for full stack ? please suggest me something sir its my humble request..

Some companies hire for data analyst and then give them task of a data scientist. They do this to justify their less salary

Try data engineering roles in data consultancy companies. Yes the pay may not be as sexy but most of them from what I know would gladly hire someone even with zero experience but show their dedication to continuously learning. Then with enough experience you could start looking for proper data job in an actual business company. Talking from personal and relation experience

Data engineering is a good career for the future, but you need to go through the data analytics career path to become a data engineer Full stack is an evergreen job, you can go for that also

U can directly become data engineer as the competition is less as compared to data analytics. You have higher chance of getting data engineering interview.

@@AashishTelgote-zx4wp Definitely anyone can become a DE without going through DA, but going via DA towards DE is a recommended path, if you go for DE and you need to work on transformations and data cleaning, so without knowing the core concepts how will u work?

@@SatyajitPattnaik Yes I know. Understanding some concepts of DA that are needed in DE is important. But, seeking a job as a data analyst first and then switching to data engineering is not needed, if in case that's what you were implying. And as per my experience it's easier to get data engineering job than data analyst job in current market scenario. I know few guys who were searching for data analyst job but ended up becoming data engineer. Good for them.

Don't fall for these traps. Get skilled in competitive coding ,DSA and logic building and apply SDE roles. Never waste time on searching particular job titles you will go long way

Brother just do b.ed and become school teacher. It is good option In the data analytics domain you need to work hard and should be a high command on programing language. If you are not interested in coding then sorry this data analytics domain is not for you

I always apply for jobs which require 1 year of work experience and sometimes 2 year of work experience. And whenever, I get a call they ask me how much experience do you have ? When I say, I have 6 months of internship experience. They respond by saying, we are looking for candidates with 3 year of work experience.

The major reason for declining in data analyst role is that many people are entering from various domain to this domain which is making difficulty for IT student , also the the upgradation in terms of technology like Chatgpt is performing the task of data scientist and analyst . This domain should have been only open to CS students and IT background

Well, IT field has always been very welcoming, its nothing new, in old days, people from non IT and non CS background entered this domain and same is happening now, so its nothing new. Now talking about chatgpt’s arrival, it has not done any damage to jobs, atleast to da/ds jobs (not that i know of) Yes, one thing is right, there are too many people entering this market which makes it difficult for people to find jobs but the deserving and hardworkers find their way😀
