I have the original Mini 2 and it's still awesome. I did just purchase the Mini 4 Pro for the better camera and tracking as well as obstacle avoidance. But the price is pretty high compared to the Mini 2. If anyone is starting off with droning and they aren't sure if it's for them, the Mini 2 is a no brainer to get into the game. It's so fun...

Oh, mini 4 pro nice. Yes, I agree most new flyers should get a mini 2 se to see if they enjoy it. Can I ask if you ever get nervous about flying an expensive drone? Well, I guess as long as the pilot has Dji Care refresh, then there aren't any worries.

@@RobinDrones I actually just bought it on Black Friday so I haven't received it yet. But I don't think it's going to be an issue. Ya, it might fall out of the sky and land in the ocean and that would suck. But that's life. It would only be money and a drone lost. Better than getting into a car accident where there are actual risks to life and limb. But ya, I'm not worried about this one at all..

Yes it's the best price to performance drone, in my opinion. Mini 3 and 4 Pro are better but they are double to triple the price! Whoever you buy this for, will be well happy with it 😊

I was given a Mini 2 SE with the extra flight combo kit for a birthday present back in September. Absolutely love it. Find my self looking for places to photograph regularly. Will be looking for an uograde drone maybe in a years time.

@kodak_jack No you don't get the power supply but any usb phone charger will do. I charge mine with a Samsung 25w charger, but I've recently upgraded to a 60w charger. I'm not sure how faster this is though...

Great video. I just bought a Mini 2 this week after loosing my SE 2 to a tree without DJI Care. Needless to say I have DJI Care with the new one. It's a great drone for the money.

Can you notice any difference it the video quality between the mini 2 and the mini 2 se? Yeh dji care seems good, I've not had to use mine yet...

@@RobinDrones Yes actually, the video looks more detailed and crisp. I can't wait for some good weather to really give it a go. So far my only dislike is the Mini 2 sits nearly on the ground where the SE is a little more off the ground.

Hi, Would you be kind enough to tell me what I need to do to fly my dji mini 2 se legally in the uk, as googling the info becomes confusing. Also if I purchase a strobe light will that potentially exceed the weight limit ? Many thanks Lee

So the minimum you have to do is to get an operator id from here... register-drones.caa.co.uk/individual/register-as-drone-operator It's around £10 a year. And you have to label your drone with your operator id. I put my label under the battery door so it doesn't show up in my videos. You can also get a flyer id if you wish (it's free) Or you need both if your drone weights more than 250g As for the strobe, we're lucky with the mini 2 se as it's around 244g, so even with the strobe, it's still under 250g Hope this helps you.

I had good time with mine never crashed it I flew one hour an power source error came up 400$ out the window can't get no help but I really loved the little drom I would like to see her good again

I use to dji fly app. Note you can't download it from the app store, you have to download it from the dji website.

I'd definitely recommend the mini 2 se as its newer. The older mavic mini is less capable in the wind and it uses the older remote with a WiFi connection. The mini 2 se runs on OcuSync 2 so the signal will be miles better 😉

the Mini SE utilises an enhanced Wi-Fi signal to transmit video up to 4 KM, the Mini 2 takes full advantage of DJI's proprietary OcuSync 2.0 technology, allowing for HD video transmission up to 10 KM away.

Yes, but the mini 2 has been discontinued in the uk for a few months now, so you can't buy it.

Yep, I just noticed that you can buy this as a refurbished unit from dji for £199 that's an absolute bargain for an excellent drone! So good it's out of stock 🤔
