In this video I take an in-depth look at the GAN 356 i Carry Bluetooth Smart Cube 3x3 speedcube, along with some Limited Edition GAN 330 keychain cubes - sent to me by GanCube. Gan has other smart cubes, such as the i3 and the i Play 3x3s, but what sets the i Carry apart from these others is the use of a replaceable/disposable battery so you don't need to charge it. It is also significantly cheaper than the others.

Good review. I got this cube about three months back, and I really enjoy it. I've found it's great for two things. The first is what I call "lazy solves" and that's when I want to practice on the couch, or outside, or anywhere that I don't have the ability or desire to use a timer or keep tapping my phone to start and stop solves. The other is that it's great for travel. I've used it on airplanes and trains, and it's so much easier than using a timer, but I still get the benefit of seeing how well I'm doing and where i could improve.

i recently just bought this cube after wanting to increase my smart cube collection and not having the gyroscope in the i carry does not seem like a deal to me. And btw this was an awesome and entertaining review to watch!Those GAN keychains also look very pretty!

Hey thanks for posting! I saw your video and thought I would buy this hoping to grasp F2L. I am good with following the LBL process, but cannot get a grasp of CFOP from F2L onwards. You appear to have the same issue as me, although maybe because i dont understand its loosing me & you didn't seem to be bothered by it. At the 4.11 time stamp your cube does not match the app. When i run the training algo's my cube starts in SOLVED, but the app starts scrambled. Not sure how i am supposed to work through learning the movements for F2L if they dont even match. If you have time maybe you can post a vid helping us Newbies to grasp the concepts of F2L on the i Carry? Cheers
